I have lost in circumference (sp?) So i was into a 40 C now I'm like 36 C/B so they are not as big as before but definately perkier and a touch smaller. I kind of like them like they are now....

I would be really terrified to consume 1600 calories. Even if they are healthy the first thing my doctor told me was to avoid eating all day long. And I would think you would HAVE to eat all day long to consume 1600 calories. If not then you risk stretching your new svelt little tummy...that being said I also think this might be psychological only because if I eat more than 3-4 four ounces I vomit immediately! Good luck and look after your little tummy.

I was emotional for about 3 weeks as well. I went to the supermarket and would wander through the store looking at the nutritional information and cry....."oh I can't eat this oh I can't eat that....I'm going to die not being able to eat anymore woe is me" It went away. Just keep on praying the Lord will make the emotions even out:DDD

I don't think everyone follows low carb eating although it does work best. You can't take everything you love out of your diet because you will feel like you are deprived....then you will overindulge and the cycle will continue. If you had a bad day, it's a bad day chalk it up to a bad day and tomorrow begin again. I have to admit that I try my best to stick to low carb BUT i do love my potatos.......

I had a five week stall. Then, overnight, I lost five pounds and now I"m stalled AGAIN. I have both my middle fingers up to this dreaded stall! My mom said that we lose weight as we gained it....does anyone know if this is true?

my mom had to hide the goldfish crackers....I LOVE those things. I definately can eat saltines like a queen....you gotta get rid of that stuff. If you have others in the house who enjoy it have them hide it where you won't find it and ask them not to eat it while you are around....

I'm having a heck of a time with them as well. I feel like I "swing in the breeze" as I walk. What I have been doing now is going on evening walks (about 2.5 miles) every other day I use five pound weights in each hand and as I walk I swing my arms in the normal walking fashion and then when my arms get tired I alternate between different weight lifting movements (curls, tricep lifts ect).......I hope that it works, I have noticed my arms a bit tighter and I have been doing it for three weeks.

I have a question for those experienced sleevers.
Can certain foods give you the slimes?
This morning was my first case of the slimes. I had 1/2 a scrambled egg w/cheese and a 1/2 piece of TJ's turkey bacon. That was it. TMI (sorry) I am gagging and spitting up all over the place.
I have never had this before. I have eaten more quantity that this and it didn't happen. For example, on Sunday I ate 1/3 of a small Wendy's chili and all was good. Soup and food of the like seem to go down much better for me.
I feel like I have a lump in my throat, too. It is slowly going away. I took a good long time to eat as well. I was cooking for the kids and doing laundry between bites.
The lump feeling (not the slimes) happened with some roasted chicken as well.
Maybe I just need to eat soup for the rest of my life?
I'm ten weeks out and I still get the slimes if I eat too quickly. I am STILL having a difficult time slowing down, especially when I eat with others. I feel anti social because I avoid eating socially at all costs because I feel as if I might puke in front of them and that would be mortifying....

I read that and agreed completely with pasquini. Why waste energy (and calories) on someone who only invited me because she thought I would not go and only invited me out of courtesy......

I told EVERYONE because I really don't give a crap what they think. I told everyone because most all of the women in my family are morbidly obese and I thought if they knew about me then they would do the surgery if they saw how great it was. My cousins have all told me the same old thing: "I might be over weight but all of my blood tests are coming up normal and i"m PERFECTLY healthy....(but let's not mention your double knee replacements or elevated sugar levels or the fact that you are on cholesterol medication) I guess they are just in denile, but over time and when they see that I'm getting healthy I hope and PRAY for their sake that they will see the light of day!!!!

Yayyyy excellent! Good job!!!!! Keep up the good work.

I adjusted my way of drinking early on. I was doing a sip sip suck thing like letting it flow down my throat in a smoothish way....if that makes sense. Now, at 8 weeks out, i'm drinking pretty darn fast and it feels like i never had the surgery, however I did try to drink right after eating...wow I would NOT recommend that EVER. Holy! I threw up like the girl from the exocist....

I buy them at the regular super market. They put them in the organic area of veg where you find the refrigerated tofu. They do stink but I rince them like three or four times then I boil them, THEN I prepare maranara. Get a box of pomi, or any jar of pureed tomatos (dont get the cans because your sauce will taste metallic) You can use the roma tomatoes peeled in the can and just squish the Tomato in your hand to smash it up if you like chunkier sauce. Get about 2-3 garlic cloves and smash them up with a morter and pissel or a garlic crusher. Sautee the garlic in a table spoon of olive oil. Don't let the garlic get brown just fry it for a minute or two then throw in the pureed tomato add salt and pepper to taste and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Then toss in about two handfulls of fresh basil and let it cook. If you want to add some ground meat brown it in a seperate pan then drain the oil in a strainer lined with paper towels and pat off the fat that is on the meat. Add the meat to the sauce. After your sherataki noodles have been boiled add the sauce to them and let them cook and incorperate in the pan. Remove and plate the Pasta sprinkle with parm cheese and some red pepper flakes if you want and there you go some nice fresh sauce......

If I go over my limit on carbs I too stall and I also notice if i'm not drinking enough Water I stall as well:) So, I allow myself some cheat days to have my carbs but most days I follow my diet...... basically with pcos whenever you eat carbs they turn strait into sugar and go straight to you tummy....at least that's what happens to me.

The first time I ate pizza I could only eat 3/4's of a square slice....then it got stuck and I puked. I thought "man I will NEVER eat pizza again" but then I tried it again tonight. I at the ultra thin crust, ate it really really slowly and chewed alot and could eat a slice. I feel pretty good, nothing is stuck and i'm not puking....so eventually you will be ok. OH YEAH. My pizza only had a tiny bit of cheese sauce and three mushrooms so nothing really heavy for toppings.

I use one that disolves right on the tongue like a breath strip. It is made by Jamieson and it tastes exactly like a breath strip, so after you take it your breath is minty fresh! I like it alot. For Calcium I take those chocolaty chews and for my multi Vitamin I take two gummy vitamins. For me my Vitamins daily are like a sweet treat and I actually look forward to taking my vitamins everyday!!! Hope that helps

if you all want some good pizza that won't kill you or make you feel miserable try Dr Oetker restorante pizza. If you make one pizza and eat 1/4 of the pizza (if you can) it's not too bad on carbs and fat....it's thin and doesn't kill your stomach after. Of course I can barely eat 1/4 of the pizza but if you have a hankering it can be ok....and it's pretty damn near what you get IN ITALY!!!!
