Hey Girls~ Up and attem early this morning. I went to the art show last night...and never made it to the bigger reunion. The art show was a blast and saw a smaller handful of reunion-ers. Yes I am going...well kind of. Going to the game tonight, but so is a thousand other people, not just the hs peeps. Then tomorrow is still up in the air. The art show is w/ hs peeps too...we'll see!

Morning Violets~ Tonight is the homecoming game and the kick off to the reunion. I am SURE I'll drop that 50 lbs by tonight! haha...oh well! Hello Girls~ I went back to work and feel sooo much better. I am so glad I took yesterday off instead of running and running, and then I'd be sick for longer. Still a bit stuffy and a tad "coughy" but all is well. I did my pysch eval last week, and now I just wait for final ins approval!!! Please cross your fingers and toes for me...and send purple power that I am approved. Susanne's mom is still here and we've had a really nice time. Susanne will take her home this Sat. I have my 25th high school reunion thingy this Friday and Saturday. Friday is the homecoming game and Saturday is a reception. I also MUST go to an art show Sat night at my friends house...soooo I am double booked. Not sure which will win...I'll keep you posted...maybe both!!! Tomorrow is Thursday...YEAH!!! I am engrossed in my book and hope to chill and read this weekend! OK...that is it for me! love you girls! Hi Girls~ I am still fighting this cold...more like a half of cold, really bad sore throat and feel shitty...but nothing really else to note. We went to Billy's for breaky (funny...you all know that place now) and ran a few errands. We had to pick up Oscar, Stef's dog to come over until tomorrow. He LOVES the new place and is busy checking everything out. Tomorrow I officially join the church. I am excited to do it...but it has been such a busy week, wish I felt better. I had my psych eval Thursday sooooo just waiting to get final approval for the gb surgery. Ready, but am still waiting until it is a fo' sho' thing before I get toooo excited. I was prequal'd before...soooo just need the last step. Jane, hope your puter issues are resolved. I turn mine off at night, but usually leave it on during the day when I am home. Michelle, congrats to ds on doing great at the games. GOOD LUCK ON THE SAT's...I think you said he takes them today. I was hungover for my SAT's and I turned out ok!!!haha (or did I???) Judy, I hope you and the Bobster dance the night away at the wedding! have fun, and feel better (I think we have the same cold). Laura, soooo does C know about B or M? I bet your mom is so excited. Morning girls~ Two nights ago I thought it would be great to sleep with the window open...and now I have a slight head cold, sore throat, and fuzzy brain! What a dumb ass. It was the draft and the ceiling fan that got me...oh yeah, that and the 58 degrees that my body is not used to. I got to watch 3 episodes of Mad Men last night....aaahhhh, my happy place! Hey girls~ I don't think I checked in today. Had a good day. I had an eye appointment, but when I got there (all the way in DHS) the office was closed. I came home and booked an apt w/ my doc I've had for 20 years. I have to go to a class tonight for church. That superduper sucks because it cuts into my bed time. I will be glad when it is over tonight. I am really excited to be joining this church...and feel this is a right fit for me. Busy busy week, and I can't squeeze in any exercise. I really hate it, because I feel soo sluggish when I don't exercise. Working out keeps me sane...ut oh:blush: ((Jane)) Hope all is well w/ you all! oxoxox

Hey Kids~ Woke up to a very lightning show this morning! Opened the windows and am enjoying a cool morning with the great smell of rain. It is not raining yet...but it is coming! I LOVE THESE MORNINGS! I start my UU orientation classes today after church. Looking forward to it. I start today, then tomorrow at 7pm. It is supposed to be 81 on Tuesday!!!! OMG...where is my coat! What kind of "foulness"?

Morning girls~ It is a gorgeous morning here. It was raining earlier, and the clouds are making the sunrise spectacular! We have the windows open and enjoying the smell of rain! Another little storm will roll in later too! Susanne is going to pick up her mom. We have the couch repair guy coming this am, then a quick trip to the grocery store...and then I am free all day! I have 3 episodes of Mad Men to watch (OMG, THAT IS MY HAPPY PLACE FOR REAL). I am soooo loving this book, Freedom. REALLY GOOD, and I guess it is an Oprah book. I have it on the kindle, and am enjoying the text to speech option on this one. Haven't used that in a long time, but sometimes it is nice to chillax and listen to a story. I will have the windows open and will be reading (listening) to my book this afternoon. Doesn't that sound delicious? Michelle, I'd love to see Seussical the Musical! How fun! Yes, a week ago we were only chubby girls...I think you should rock the tiara just for the heck of it! Make it a great day girls! Miss you!

It does seem weird...can't believe it has been a week! Long week for me with that additional project, but being SOOOO busy, the week flew by. I came home and Sus had made spaghetti!!! What a lovely surprise. And since I don't have papers to grade...I get to relax and read and watch boob!!! I love boob tube! xoxo

OOOO I am spittin' mad at one of my grad students! uuuugggg....this is the emails we've been exchanging. Start at the bottom paragraph. UUUGGGG...I've responded too, but it is not here! Dr. K I certainly did not mean to offend you. I have checked the doc sharing document and I though I was citing the reference correctly. I am not sure why your document would be different from the APA manual if the Walden papers are supposed to be in APA format. I will review it again and work to figure it out on my own. When I say "productive guidance" I mean support as a professer to graduate students. I rarely see any interaction on the discussion board in which you provide any input beyond a sentence or two. In the comments you have made to me, few have been positive or contained any information on the topic to extend think ing and learning. I suppose this is getting to me more and more as the weeks progress, because I work very hard to do my best in this program and feel that every contact I have with with you is negative. The next time I need productive and positive guidance from an instructor I will contact some one else. In the past when I have asked Walden professers for help I have been supported and been treated with respect and with the professionalism one would expect from a mentor. Rachel~ I am not quite sure what you mean "productive guidance"? I have asked you on both of your papers to open, download and refer to the APA template that can be found in the doc sharing area(not the manual). Had you done that you would see that there are spacing errors and indention errors on your reference page. I am unclear what you mean by "incorrectly noting pages on the reference page". Have you looked at the APA template in the doc sharing area? I have, on both papers, asked you to do so. Also, the last paper, failed to have the rubric attached. OOOO my the violets have had quite a period. Laura, you day sounds terrible...hate those days. This morning on bus duty, there was a vibe in the air, the barometric pressure changed or something...the kids were crazy. I have finished my boot camp thing, which was the big project I've worked on for the last month. SOOOO glad that is over! I had weird dreams last night too. I was sick and trying to get anitbiotics at the pharm, and she was giving me the pills in a baggie. We were in the drive through at Walgrens and I kept saying, I need the bottle with the lable, I am not taking those. Just seemed to go up hill. OK...now to chillax a bit and get through my piles. I've been out for the past two days doing my bootcamp...and I am very behind! xoxoxoxo
