Yeah!!! I am getting new earrings! Thanks Terri! I second what Kat said about a beautiful day yesterday! Today the alarm went off @ 5 as usual, and I laid there thinking, "what the hell is that???" LOL, I didn't even register that it was wakey wakey time! I am bushed. We have a contractor coming to give us a hard bid on a bathroom remodel. It requires moving a wall and building a big storage unit thingy in the closet. We now have a 1 sink SMALL vanity area where we both get ready. We just want a double sink and double vanity space. He lives somewhere in my neighborhood...now we really want to find him and see if we can visit. We always stay in bed and drink coffee and watch that show...we love it and really enjoy our "Sunday tradition". Then we come out to the den, she reads the paper and I go on the puter...life is good!:biggrin: Today is the season opening for Susanne's softball league! Hey Gals~ We had our garage sale...it was fun. Had Stef, BA and Nikki come over and "help"/talk/laugh/Starbucks/donuts...lol! We made 210 bucks or so...it was BEAUTIFUL here...about 95 today. Shorts and tank tops! Gonna have stef over later for dinner and Friday the 13th movie night! Have a great weekend!

Kat~ Yes Juan's parents came...and I got to meet Brian, the twin too! He was too cute, showed me his tummy. It is wrapped in gauze all around the torso, but showed me some new pink skin peeking out. What a doll. I gave mom a big hug...probably thought I was a nut job...she doesn't speak much English and I butchered Spanish...but I tried! 11 min to freedom...have a great day

Jealous too of the beach!!! I work until 11:30 today, then Susanne and I will drive over to Ontario and go see a movie there. Gonna see the Secret Life of Bees (yet, another book I did not finish). My brother flies in from Reno @ 6pm tonight, so instead of sitting in bad traffic late Friday afternoon, thought we'd go over early and have lunch and a movie there! It is 5:15pm and I am still at work...the universe is all off kilter!!! We do this 2x a year, and if we stay until 7pm to meet w/ parent...we get out @ 11:30 tomorrow! So I am here...gonna run up to office and go pee...and then gonna come back and read my book. It is against my religion to do "real work" this late at night! xoxo

Haydee~ I did not go on, except to go to "work" and get my $. Click on the little triangles and they take you out of your apartment. Then you keep clicking...you can go to work (get $ to buy new clothes and furniture) or you can go to the nightclub and get a drink...lol, when you drink the screen goes fuzzy. The beach...gym, lol...lots of places. It is not as detailed as Second Life (what Laura plays)...it is like an elementary version. It is fun w/ friends. I will text you when I go on...but may be a couple of days. I mean...go on to hang out, I already went on this am to check in at work and get $$. Last night, I worked until 4pm, had Chinese left overs, checked email, etc, then worked on diss from 5pm-8pm. I then watched ALL MY CHILDREN (which Susie and Jane...is soooooo good now) and read until bed. What a depressing report, lol! xoxo

Morning... Tracy, it doesn't matter that she "told you last week" or yesterday for that matter...that bitch is rude. That comment (s) is not necessary and is very CONDESCENDING. You can start to "make it fun" with/at her. Start each question with, "I know you told me last week, but...". That'll piss her off and take away some of her percieved "power trip". You are right, you don't want it to effect Macy and you got a long year ahead of you. Might as well make yourself entertained in the meantime. Also, I would "casually" mention how two of your very best friends are teachers(me and Judy). If it keeps on...and you are pissed...go to her principal and don't have words w/ her. Bon Dia Violetas~ Guess what country that is from? I am up and my eyes are still way too puffy to "put my face on". Guess I will go to work sans makeup. The kids always ask..."are you sick" when i go w/out my face. Oh well. Today actually, I don't get to work w/ my kids...I am in data meetings all day long. Data meetings are a result of No Child Left Behind...more bullshit and crapola that is intentionally a good idea, but realisitcally not well thought out. Anyhoo...I gotta do it! Tomorrow is Parent/Teacher conferences which should be pretty good this year. I am hoping to have a pretty good turn out, because I am self contained (have 30 kids all day long). I will be available 12:15-3:15 Wed; and 12:15-3:15 as well as 4-7 on Thursday! Since I only have 30 kids, and most conferences are pretty short, I should be able to get some homework done. I did hear back from my diss chair on my chapt. 4! She started by saying "I am impressed..." then went through and gave me some concrete and focused direction. I had 19 tables in chap 4, and she said each one needed a paragraph clearly listing the data from the table. She said, if you take all the tables out, that people "not in the know" should be able to follow your data w/ the narrative portions. So, I have some work ahead of me. My goal is to send her just the research question 1 portion (what she asked for) by the end of the week, and then hopefully have the rest done by the end of the month. Between now and the end of the month I have a garage sale, a weekend out of town (Tina Turner), ending a semester w/ Walden, and starting a new one, Halloween and Gay Pride weekend!!! Oh yeah...keeping my fingers crossed that my dad doesn't take a bad turn in the next few weeks too! I need a nap just typing it out! Sorry to be such a ramblin' rose today!! Hey All~ Well, Lucy did not fail. I am having trouble getting some point from the weekend out of my mind...and Lucy helped. Dairy Queen was closed today (wth?) but I had some sugar free stuff here. Finally took a shower and feel a bit better. I started a new book, (not really new, perhaps ya'll have already read it), called She's Come Undone and so far I love it. I could've read more today but my eyes are burning. Very interesting summary on the back...if you are interested you might want to look it up. It has a 1992 copyright, but it was still in the airport best sellers area. Quiet night here. Anyone playing Yoville on Facebook? OMG...talk about crack addicting. It is a blast. Hey Ladies~ I am home...sad...but am so glad that I got a chance to tell him how blessed I am to have him as a dad, how lucky I feel that he has always been in my corner, and thank him for all the great opportunities he has afforded me...and thanks for my great personality! How much I loved him. I saved this all up until they dropped me off at the airport...then BURST into sobbing tears and let him hear everything at the curb side before I jumped out! I am lucky to have had the opportunity to tell him this stuff...so many people dont get that chance. My dad is an atheist and doesn't believe in any heaven or hell. He thinks...when we die...we are dead. I told him, "don't you think you will be watching over me?", he said, "no, my eyes will be dead!" I told him if he could, come over and move stuff around on my dresser. He said, "that will freak you out" and I said..."no, I will like it". I reminded him at the curb to come move stuff on my dresser. We laughed. I now know the 'PLANS' for after and was glad to get to talk to my step mom when dad was napping. We had a good cry and a great talk! While I was gone, Susanne painted the den!!!! She is amazing! It is georgous and I AM SOOOO LUCKY TO HAVE HER. Now mind you, we just had it painted about 3.5 years ago...but it was a muted soft blue and she painted it a mocca-esque color...it looks great! I love you all and am sooo glad to have you. Thanks for all the purple power. I am taking tomorrow off to "decompress" and will be popping in! xooxoxxoxoxoxoxo

Thanks so much ladies~ Terri, I loved what you said about "one more weekend". Tonight we (my brother and step sis and I) got another email. Now that we are all coming up for our "one at a time visits" the truth is ocming out! I won't bore you w/ the details, but it is just worse! Anyway, I am taking some serious purple power w/ me...I just want to make it through w/o...well, you know! OK...what else. Juan (the twin w/ the burned brother...I love this kid) got an award for bravery from the library today! That was sooo cute, and the librarian cried...you don't know her, she barely smiles let alone cries. It was cute. He said that in March he and his family are going to stay "in a fancy hotel" and have to give a speech about his bravery to a "bunch of fancy people". He gets to wear a tux. I told him, "you are as fancy as anyone else in that room...and don't you forget it!" I'll have to get a pic of this child and email it...he is really too cute! Terri~ That necklace was devine! You my dear friend are very talented! Judy~ OOOO my, the baby is too cute! I love the idea of waving to the Violets. You can see her/his ribs! I think it is amazing...have funfunfun on your cruise! Morning Vi's~ I woke up in the night w/ such bad pain in my lower tummy (I think intestional). For lack of a better explanation, I feel like I ate a 2x4 and am now trying to pass it. I took some GasX and rubbed it and it went away enough to sleep. Man, it hurt and this morning it still hurts. Not like in the night though, I thought maybe I should do the ER, it hurt that bad. So I got an email from my dad yesterday that says Sat. is supposed to be the FIRST FREEZE of the season and it is SUPPOSED TO SNOW!!! Oh my! I have to rethink the carry on bag now! Wish me luck. Think I will wear jeans and take my leather jacket (which I rarely get to wear here) and then some sweats around the house. I am soooo nervous for this trip. I really need purple power cause I DO NOT WANT TO CRY IN FRONT OF HIM. Did good on the pie hole report yesterday...well 'cept all that evil candy that kept popping into my mouth. I am trying, but yes stress is really bad for me! I love you all. xoxoxoxoxo
