Thanks for the props girlies...I am busting w/ excitement today! I left Susanne in her pj's under a blanket on the couch, watching a old black and white movie w/ Joan Crawford, on a gloomy wet rainy day. UH...can you say jealous??? I loved the pix Haydee and Susie! Susie...I had a chill just looking! Haydee you and Juanito look sooo cute together! We ended up having a lean pocket for dinner last night. We went and looked at a house down the street we are possibly interested in buying as an investment property and rental. It is a great time to buy now. We are looking at a better one today on our street too! Dinner is baked "fake fried" chix, zuccini and salad! But until then...there is Velvetta fudge, muffins, bagels, coffee, sticky buns thingys GALORE in the lounge...yeah, and someone shrunk my pants!!????? xoxoox

OMGOMGOMG!!! I just got this email from my diss chair...CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!!! Had to share w/ my violets! I am half way through ch. 5 and plan on finishing it by Friday (first draft mind you)...but here is what my diss chair said! Dear Pam, First let me express my sorrow at the loss of your dad. One of my students brought me a tamale for lunch! MOm just made 'em last night! Man that was good. Pie hole report sucks today!

This may sound gross...but it is sooooooooo good! Best part it is easy breezy lemon squeezy...did I mention good?! VELVEETA CHEESE FUDGE 1 lb. butter 4 lbs. powdered sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 lb. Velveeta 1 c. cocoa Nuts, chopped In a saucepan, melt butter and cheese. Sift together the sugar and cocoa; add the butter and cheese to this. Add nuts and vanilla. Mix well and spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool and cut into pieces. This makes a large amount and it never fails, also cheaper than other fudge. You can cut this down. Makes 6 1/2 pounds of fudge.

She loves it... I can not complain...I bought the entire I Love Lucy collection AND the entire Twilight Zone collection...lol! DINCs spend $$ on weird stuff. B- 1 c. Hey Violets~ Last night I had German noodles and a pork chop. This pie hole report is not looking good. There are soooo many freakin treats in the lounge, in my box (friend gave me ginger snaps), EVERYWHERE. I will work out on thurs and fri and every day (or nearly) of vacay...but I am weak...weak I tell ya...about the treats! Me Likey!:mad2: I wonder how I got fat in the first place???:blushing: Oh yeah...someone brought in REALLY moist choc cake for lunch yesterday!!! WWHHAAAAAA! I need that show Intervention! Speaking of which, I watched that show last night. I caught 2 episodes. Now I am hooked! Lastly, I will get my SS gift in the mail today! Gonna go priority mail. CAN'T BELIEVE THERE ARE ONLY 9 DAYS UNTIL XMAS...AND I NEED TO WORK 4 OF THOSE DAYS! I have no shopping to do...Sus and I are doing no gifts for each other. Just Sat. night, she bought herself some DVD set for nearly $300 and I bought myself a new phone for $200. That is why we are not getting each other presents. We said, the only thing we need to get for each other is anniversary gifts. No more bdays (except out to dinner) or any other gifts. She will get her mom something, and put my name on it! We drank a bottle of yummy wine last night too! WOOHOO...she went to bed at 8pm! haha peaceout

Can your ds come over at 4:30 in the morning and tell Sus and I he wants to go work out too? That should solve the problems. Sus said last night, "I might go work out later, after you go to work..." Well what fun is that for me? I am hoping to go, but if it is pouring out I won't go. You have no idea how bad desert people drive in the rain...I should know, I am one of them!

Morning Gals~ Feeling a bit better. The alarm went off at 4:30 and decided against going outside in shorts to go workout...so, in my sleep state...I re-did the alarm for 5:30...or so I thought. Susanne woke me up at 5:40 and the clock read 6:41 and I had a heart attack thinking it was 6:40! LOL...long story long, my ass should have just got up and went to gym, especially since I laid there for about 1/2 hour. Gonna rain today:( Got a leaky window. I will try to get Secret Santa stuff in mail today, but it is the busiest day of the season today and with the rain, it may take until Tuesday. Was gonna do it Sat, but was sick! Judy that is so sad! I put some pix up of my dad's Celebration of Life pix up on facebook. If anyone wants to take a peak! Off for a quick game of scrabble! oxxooxxoxoox

I ended up going to Susanne's game..double header...won both games! WOOHOO...still undefeated! I sat in the car during the 2nd game. As soon as the sun goes down behind the mountain...man it got really cold! It was 48 when we left...and it was only 5:30...gonna be hella cold going to the gym at 5am! have a great night!

Morning Violets~ I have been up since 5am...just can not lay down anymore. Still sick, but so far feel a bit better. I really rested yesterday! I have such a crazy week that I can not miss any work. So I might skip the game today. I have about 24 grad papers to grade so that will keep me busy today. Usually in the morning...I am very tight. I am 1/2 tight at lunch...I can PB if I don't pay attention. Then I am ok at dinner. But yesterday the flood gates were open. I need to make a fill appointment. Off to deal w/ work stuff...have a great day! xooxox

Hey V's~ I got my secret santa's final piece and it will go in the mail tomorrow!!! I love giving gifts! Tracy...just think...if you don't keep the present...you will get a surprise too! We have STORM WATCH 2008 coming...man o man...people are freaking out. I have a leaky window...so next week is gonna suck for us. It will be cold too, like 50 as the high! OMG...guess what I got today. At Gottshalks (an upscale dept store, like Robinson/May). They had a suede jacket originally $165...a bunch of them too. It was marked down to $29.99! PLUS 20% OFF!!! I got a georgous suede jacket for 24bucks!!! Got my brother one too! I am really jazzed! My leather coat cost $300, so this is a steal! Gonna watch a movie w/ the inlaws...have a great weekend!

In my day (which is just around the same time as your day) we got gold, red, green or silver stars! We are now watching March of the Penguins! I love it! No popcorn though so that sucks. Hopefully, we are going to see MILK tomorrow w/ Sean Penn! I am sooo excited! I can't wait to see it! BBL

Guess What??? Today is Cantando a la Virgin (The walk for the Virgin Mary)...I have 14 kids absent and only 13 in class (1 is in In School Suspension)!!! WOOHOO. I made tons of fun things to do for the kids, coloring Xmas trees, holiday word searches, Santa mazes, Santa and Snowmen cards, angels, etc. They are in 3 small groups w/ their friends coloring, chatting, relaxing. I AM HAVING A FANFREAKINTASTIC DAY!
