  1. You look amazing! Congratulations to you! All that hard work paid off.
  2. I have a box of the new stuff that I just recently purchased. I really hope it doesn't taste bad...I'll keep you updated as well.

  7. That is so exciting, congratulations!
  8. People can be so clueless, careless, and rude!
  9. I have heard of surgeries getting canceled because people gained more than 5 pounds on surgery day. My surgeon told me that I have to try to lose 10 but I absolutely can't gain anything or surgery will be canceled.
  10. That is awesome, congratulations!!!
  11. I would love to have a copy as well. Thank you so much for doing that! erjones2@hotmail.com
  12. I love the new living room set reward!!!! I think I may have to make that and a new mattress my weight loss rewards after surgery.
  13. Thanks for sharing your story! I can't wait to hear more about your weight loss and non-scale victories.
  14. Wishing you all the best and a VERY speedy recovery. I'm sure your family misses you as much as you miss them!
  15. My Kaiser Options program told us that we had to lose 10% of our starting weight or the surgeon would not do the surgery. It's a guideline I think. They want you to try to lose as much weight as you can before surgery just so that your liver shrinks a bit and it generally makes the surgery easier. My surgeon told me to try to lose 10 more pounds, but he would still do the surgery as long as I don't gain anything back.
  16. Thanks! I'm very excited to finally have a date. I'm sure the nerves will kick in pretty quickly, but that's why I joined this site. I'm so glad that I found all of you, this is the best support I could have asked for.
  17. Call and ask the insurance company perhaps, see what they say.
  18. Finally! I got my surgery date scheduled for May 19, 2011.
  19. I weigh myself sometimes twice a day. I get very obsessive. I know that right now I'm doing it because I am supposed to lose 10 pounds before surgery and I'm trying really hard to meet that goal. Like Tiffnie, I've been losing and gaining the same two pounds.
  20. Did you have your gallbladder out at the same time? That can cause things to move rather quickly
  21. Aww, thanks guys. You all made me feel better. I definitely need to work on my comebacks when people say things to me.
