I'm Sleeved!!!!
It's quieted down today, I've only gone once this morning. I've been drinking clear fluids, no dairy at all. Yesterday I had vitamin water, apple juice, and water. Today I've had 1/2 of a protein shake, herbal tea, apple juice, and vitamin water. I'm not quite up to where I need to be with ounces in, but I'm working on it.

Anyone else sick of the pre-op diet???
It's so worth it! Just keep it up. I had to do a three week liquid diet pre-op and it was actually great preparation for life post-op.

I'm Sleeved!!!!
Thanks! I'm doing good today, am sipping sipping sipping! Had a mini melt down last night because I wasn't resting enough and tried to do too much my first day home. Today is better after a full night of sleep. One concern is that I'm having some serious diarrhea (sorry tmi!), like 8 times yesterday, once in the middle of the night, and once already this morning. I'm not sure if I need to call the surgeon's office or not. I know that they gave me something in the hospital to "get things moving", and they do their job well that's for sure! I took 3 immodium's yesterday (doctor told me it was ok at the hospital), and they haven't done a darn thing. I know the only thing that I have taken in has been liquid and liquids in = liquids out, but I'm concerned about dehydration. Thoughts?

Final Food Funeral
I had to wait about four months for my surgery date and spent at least two days for each of those weeks having food funerals. I had my final food funeral two weeks ago, we went to Chili's and I was only able to eat about half of my food. Surgery is this Thursday and I'm finding that I have more head hunger than anything else. The soup and protein shakes are filling me up just fine.

Vitamins!
I'm taking Fintstones complete multivitamins, Chewable Calcium, B Complex liquid, B12 sublingual, and chewable C.

Looking for unflavored protein powder
GNC has unflavored whey protein powder, and I think it's like $35 or $38 per tub. I know it's high quality, but have no clue what it tastes like or how many grams of protein it has.

Having surgery Monday and I'm terrified
Lots of deep breaths! My surgery is this coming Thursday and I also have some sinus issues at the moment. Take lots of Vitamin b12 and c, and drink a TON of water!!! It's totally normal to be afraid and to revert back to old habits. Try using some other coping strategies to relax, like deep breathing, going for a walk, taking a bath, whatever makes you feel better!! Maybe start making a list (if you haven't already) of all of the things you are looking forward to as the weight comes off. That might help to remind you why you're putting yourself through this. As far as the clear liquids, I only have to do that the day before surgery, so make sure that tomorrow you're on top of it!! I keep reminding myself that the liquid diet is only temporary and that it will be more than worth it in the end!!! I wish you the very best of luck and I'll see you on the losers bench soon!!!

9 Days Post Op
Congrats on your post op weight loss! I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the shakes, it seems like a common problem. Have you gotten any of the samples to try different brands?

I fit my goal pants already...
Congratulations on your NSV!!!! You look amazing in those jeans! One question, how did you chose your goal size?
-
Pre-op peeps- I want to give you
Meggie, Thanks so much for sharing your journey! I hope that the liquids start to go down a little easier for you soon. My mantra is "this too shall pass" and I repeat it to myself constantly when I get tired of the stupid Protein drinks and want to eat something different. Erin

Not sure what to do...
love it!

Feeling really depressed!!! =*(
What are you currently eating? Do you know how many calories you are consuming? 22 pounds is fantastic weight loss in a little over a month!!! You're doing amazing! I haven't had surgery yet, but I do know what it feels like to want everything to happen all at once, give yourself time and maybe beef up your calories just a tad so that you don't feel hungry all the time.

Not sure what to do...
There are some seated exercise videos that you might be able to do. http://www.chairdancing.com/ I think they were made in the 80s or something, they are a little difficult to watch without laughing.
