  1. I'm recently banded as well and my 1st fill was also 4cc to make mine a total of 5cc, my MD informed me that I might not see a big difference in my feelings of hunger, she told me not to feel bad but just to try and stay on track and eat healthy meals. The reason I say this is cause I told her that I didn't feel much of a difference and she told me that I might not. While I'm not hunger 2 hours after I eat , I feel that I'm able to get more than than 1 cup. I say just stick with it and try to drink you Water, that's what I'm doing and good luck!

  2. A city pool near me is offering the class for 5 weeks, twice a week for an hour each for $50.....I think I'm going to check it out on Monday!

I'm 4 weeks post-op on Monday, and that's when the first class starts....is that too soon???? I'm not very coordinated though!!!

I don't think 4 weeks is to soon, my Dr said that 4 weeks was good to go. I was 5 weeks post op last week before I did the class, but I have been doing cardio and walking alot. So give a try I think you will like it. GOOD LUCK!

  3. Ladies,

I went to the class and I had a great time, and the best part was that I worked really hard and I was not sore this morning and I slept like a baby. LOL I will be going back again. I actually saw a post about it on LBT and then I googled it in my town and found out that they were doing it here.

  4. I'm not sure about how long they will last once you mix them. They may separate, I use Lean shake w/25g of protien and I really like them. However I would suggest you buy one of the shakers that they have, they are really easy to make it right when you are ready to have them. Unless you are adding fruit they work really well, I even use greek yogurt in place of milk and it mixes it just fine.

  5. Hi Everyone,

I would really like some help on this. I'm 19 days post op and according to my doctor I can start cardio after 2 weeks and ab work after 3 weeks. My question is that a lot of cardio calls for you to use your abs and what about the jumping around. I'm really nervous about jumping around and dancing so can you guys give me some advice as to what you are doing. I'm doing Turbo Fire which is high impact cardio, right now I'm doing it very low key. Any help would be apprecitaced.

  6. I have Turbo Fire and I was doing it before my surgery and I'm hoping to start it once it again. It's very fast but they show you how to modify everything. You can also try Turbo Jam, it's by Charlene as well and it's like Turbo Fire, but not as ampped. LOL I was banded on 6/9 and I have to wait til 3 weeks to do ad workouts so I'm hoping to start again next week. She also has great music.

  7. I'm 10 days post op and I'm still using the breathing exercise, so I think you should and it will help with your congestion. Also I used a heating pad and it really helped with my back pain. I also have to use a pillow under my stomach when I sleep on my side. I hope everything gets better for you, I think when your cold goes away it will help everything. Good Luck!laugh.gif
