  1. Hey Tammy here- RN for 8 years- 7 of them psych- sleeved 2/2011- great first 2 years then I had to start putting forth more effort- what a ride it's been- losing my job in jan so hoping that stress doesn't get me off track- I'd like to encourage other sleevers- hopefully me supporting others will keep me on track - I really wish everyone well- it's NOT a quick fix but a tool- manage it well, listen to your sleeve, and you will succeed- God bless

  2. Notice the big print! I will be 50 in July and am dreading it. I am 3 months out, love my sleeve, lost 56 lbs. I have the same issues, hard to find clothes sometimes that aren't for a 14 year old or a 70 year old (please don't anyone take offence). I am going to wear what I am comfortable in, what I feel confident in. I hope you will do the same.

  3. My surgeon was Dr. Gersin with Carolinas Weight Management. I stayed at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. for my sleeve. I also had to have a hiatal hernia repair at the same time. The procedure went smoothly and I had no complications. Anyone in this region of the country that is thinking of having batriatric surgery needs to look this group up, they are awesome!:D

  4. :youcandothis:New to blogging-ready to talk about this-had my sleeve on Feb 17, 2011- so wish I had done it sooner, almost did 4 years ago. I have done very well but am struggling now with anxiety and depression. Partly due to other issues but I am determined to be successful-it really helps to talk to others. I like to be encouraged and encourage others- I m reading a book called The Beck Diet Solution-I highly recommend it, my MDs office recommended it, deals with cognitive behavior modification. Lost 25lbs before surgery and 28 lbs since surgery! Yahh !
