  1. wish I could of gone to Mexico, I could of bought a car with the differance.
  2. I couldn`t agree more. I eat far too much bad food and the only reason I have lost weight is because of bootcamp type classes with a friend. After a while it become so much fun and now its my entertainment.
  3. I can drink beer no problem but if I have a bar snack its all over.
  4. I use unflavored whey powder and add fruit, milk and plain yogurt. Its like a thick-shake.
  5. I don`t feel obese any more and sometimes if I hold my stomach in as I`m walking past a girl I feel normal. Just to be able to taste normality makes me feel good.
  6. I had meds for a week, its so worth it!
  7. I am just as happy about being smoke free now as having my surgery. Maybe its a blessing in disguise?
  8. I`m almost 6 months out, I eat heaps between 6pm and 11pm. I eat alot better foods such as fruit and "some" not so good. I exercise or weight train every day, my weight loss has slowed to a crawl. I am very, very happy with my sleeve. As long as I don`t put on weight then I feel I have already succeeded, I thought I wanted to be slim but it turns out I just wanted to not be fat.
  9. No Problem with Dairy at all (yum Yum) Not realy going out to dinner but lunch is better for me. My biggest regret is I didn`t have the sleeve done earlier but then again it wasn`t around My Advice is to eat less and exercise more, what tools you use to help you do that is your business.
  10. why can`t you goto those places? a benefit of the sleeve is to be able to eat anything in moderation after a time that is.
  11. I`m in New Zealand and my bougie was a 34f. I`m just over 5 months post op. Its so nice just eating what I would call normal portions and normal food. I also eat some foreign foods such as fruit.
  12. Just because its called weight gain dosn`t mean you will. I would definitely be trying to match my calories out with liquid replacement.
  13. If i had the choice I would too
  14. So are you still enjoying it?
  15. I think a protean shake could do wonders especially if you working out. I basically have a milk, frozen berry's, Honey and unflavored whey.
  16. I think at 2 weeks from having most of your stomach removed you should be concerned only with healing.
  17. The more carbs you eat the less room for protean in your little stomach.
  18. I think maybe you need to reevaluate your idea of success as far as the sleeve goes. Speed of weight loss can be attributed to circumstances outside of our control, such as sex, starting weight and hunger. I don`t think if one person takes 6 months and another takes 2 years that one was more successfully than the other (there are just so many variables that have to bee taken into account). Ultimately its calories in vs calories out.
  19. Your doing awesomely, Ok so your never going to be a perfect sleever but your only 4 months out. You don`t know how your going to feel next week. The gym is how I burn my calories and my sleeve stops me from over compensating afterwords, so I make bad food choices but I will never make them in 2lb bags again.
  20. I`m a guy, I bought a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. tadaaa new wardrobe.
  21. Oh no I feel so slack, i eat so much. Breakfast: 1 x toast & boiled egg (maybe 2 if I'm hungry) Snack: 1 x toast with a cheese filling lunch: Sushi x 8 Pieces or subway 6" Dinner: pork chop/chicken little bit of mash potato and some veg Yogurt Snack: raw nuts
  22. In my opinion giving up the ciggies right now should be your only concern. Well done. At 3 weeks you may find that the nicotine will try and trick you into "just 1 will be ok", just be aware of it.
