You can be pretty much recovered by then, but if you are anything like most people, vacationing usually means eating a lot, and watching others eat while you are probably still in the mushy phase might be rather stressful.

Stay positive. In the long run it is actually more cost effective for the insurance company to approve the surgery now, than having to cover obesity related ailments later on.

I can't tell you from my experience since I got divorced just before getting banded, but from what a have noticed, a lot of women seem to get pregnant once the weight starts coming off, so it is safe to assume that sex took place lol. To be honest, deep down you will know if the lack of sex is due to your weight or other factors. My advice, don't make assumptions, if you lose weight and sex is still not happening don't be afraid of asking your husband what the issue is. Men are not mind readers, if women don't tell us what is wrong, we usually go on believing everything is fine the way it is.
Hope this helps

I am surprised you are eating that much so soon after surgery. But like others have said before, right now you should concentrate on healing, more than on losing weight. You might be retaining some Water weight, so eventually it will all just drop really fast. Keep up with your Protein intake, and you will do great. Congrats on the surgery.
