  1. From SUBWAY's FB page:Hi fans, we’ve seen a lot of comments about an online promotion for free subs. SUBWAY isn't currently running an online promotion for a free sandwich. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Franchisees often run great local promotions and offers, so check with your local SUBWAY store the next time you visit.

  2. Frustrated since I showed proof of renter's insurance when I moved in, now I get notice that they need proof of insurance or I will be evicted. Grrr....

  3. GasBuddy said: Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Connecticut now have prices that are over a dime higher than that of California. Now that's bad...

  4. getting ready for the Family Fun Day at GE tomorrow. I hope to see all of my GE friends there!

  5. Gonna be a long day...

  6. Good workout today. Anthony Reed properly chastised me for not working out more often last week. :) Today I did some stretches and about 15 minutes of gentle workout on the Nu-Step before my training session. We did different exercises today and then afterwards, I jumped in the pool and worked out there for a bit before hitting the whirlpool for a few minutes.

  7. Got most of my furniture (there was a mixup and I didn't get the correct dining table/chairs. They will re-deliver that Monday morning. Cincinnati Bell came early to hook up my tv/internet. The guy wouldn't even help me get the TV out of the box. Thankfully, I was able to - although I'm not sure how advisable it was.

  8. Gotta love my sleeve. On Saturday I stopped at Firehouse Grill and got a salad for lunch. I've now had 3 meals off of that salad and still have 1/2 of it left! (No dressing on the salad so the lettuce doesn't get yucky - just a little when I eat.)

  9. Had my first Computer Structure & Logic class tonight. Yup, it will be VERY easy for me. In fact the teacher has asked that I help her with class. However, I did finally learn how to convert from decimal to binary to hexadecimal! I've always really struggled with it before, but now it makes sense!

  10. Had the 2 week followup appt today - everything is going good. I'm cleared to start mushies on Tuesday!!! YAY!!!

  11. Having dinner at Uno bar. Legal seafood was too far of a walk.

  12. Here's hoping that I get many more registrations today for my classes that start next week in Cincinnati. Last chance to register!

  13. Humour - SAD NEWS - The Pillsbury Dough Boy died yesterday of a yeast infection and traumatic complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Dough Boy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children, John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dill Dough, plus they had one in the Oven. Services were held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

  14. I am 4 weeks out and craving fudge.

  15. I closed the Apple Store - well not quite, but almost. The one hour class turned into a 2 hour class and it wasn't the advanced class but it was the basic class. I did pick up another tip or two though.

  16. I did something this morning that I have not been able to do in about 2 years. I actually stood up while teaching my class this morning! I had been sitting because I just could not stand for long periods of time. This morning though, I stood for my 1 hour lecture! Woo Hoo I love having lost this weight!

  17. I finally called it quits at 10:35pm at New England Historic Genealogical Society. Got a bit done today. Thanks to Gary Boyd Roberts, I have made progress on my Dutch ancestors - dicovering some German mixed in with them. Tomorrow, I will try out my wand scanner to make some copies and will hopefully return to the microfilms...

  18. I had a HUGE dinner tonight. 2 ounces of albacore tuna pureed with 1 teaspoon of low fat Miracle Whip. I think I over did it....

  19. I have been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can't go alone...you have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips over the years thanks to my friends and family. I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump and I'm not much for physical activity.

  20. I have made one of the biggest decisions in my life. On the 18th I will see what the doctor has to say about it. To say that I am a little scared is an understatement, but it will be for the best. Change is always scary, but I can't continue with the way things have been.

  21. I have seen so many pizza commercials on tv today and NONE of them look good to me. However, the subway ads do look good....

  22. I just logged into my Duke Energy account online and had an offer for 15 free CFLs. It's part of their "green" program apparently. Pretty cool...

  23. I just love some of the ideas my boss comes up with for work. He's not real computer savvy and has no clue what's involved in developing new classes. He has good ideas, but it's me who gets to develop them and while I have some knowledge, there are things that I have no clue about but still need to develop. sigh...

  24. I just realized, in 9 days I will be getting the keys to my new apartment and getting a couple of things installed. In 10 days my furniture arrives and tv/internet service and I will be spending the first night there. WOW....

  25. I may have other *good* news next week. I am hoping so at least....
