Got most of my furniture (there was a mixup and I didn't get the correct dining table/chairs. They will re-deliver that Monday morning. Cincinnati Bell came early to hook up my tv/internet. The guy wouldn't even help me get the TV out of the box. Thankfully, I was able to - although I'm not sure how advisable it was.

Ughh... my internet from Cincinnati Bell has gone out - it appears to be a bad modem. First appointment wasn't until Wednesday. I called back and talked to someone else who connected me with the escalation desk and now someone is coming out in the morning. Good thing I have internet on my cell phone.

Did a "dry run" from work to ITT Tech tonight and it took exactly 30 minutes like I thought it would. I didn't have to be there tonight, but do on Wed and Thurs, so it's nice to know how long it will take during rush hour. I think I'll do another tomorrow, but taking a slightly different route and see if that might be any quicker.

Two and a half men is pretty funny tonight. Good riddance Charlie.

Out of hospital now. I had very little pain and no nausea (probably due to the meds I was given). I am tired though - so will be taking nap soon.

Do I really have to go back to "reality" next week? I wanna stay and keep researching!

I have been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can't go alone...you have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips over the years thanks to my friends and family. I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump and I'm not much for physical activity.

Thanks to WikiTree, I have found yet another long lost cousin from the Hickmott side. I'm hoping she will be willing to share information.

My train leaves at 9:45 am, I'll arrive in Providence about 10:40 or so. Then I'm driving back to State College, PA for another stay at the Hampton Inn there before driving the rest of the way back to Cinci on Monday. Tuesday is my appointment with the shrink about my surgery on July 12. Busy couple of days ahead...

Almost ready for the trip to New England Historic Genealogical Society for their "Come Home" event. I just have a 12 hour work day tomorrow and then packing and will be hitting the road. I already have cut up a few veggies to take with me to eat on the road so I won't be tempted to stop at fast food places. That's a first for me!

Looking over my books and DVD's that are for my classes that I start tomorrow. One class looks to be preparing for A+ Certification. I first got my A+ back in 2002 and then again in 2007. The other class looks to be an orientation class. This should be an easy term.

I did something this morning that I have not been able to do in about 2 years. I actually stood up while teaching my class this morning! I had been sitting because I just could not stand for long periods of time. This morning though, I stood for my 1 hour lecture! Woo Hoo I love having lost this weight!

Well, after convincing the tech that yes, the router really did go bad, he got another one - just to discover the security couldn't be setup on it because it was a recycled one and it would not reset back to factory specs. So, he brought in another one - a g instead of an n router and was able to get that one setup. Good thing I don't need to have the signal go really far.

Ughh... Facebook now insists on showing top stories instead of recent stories in the news feed. Why did they have to change that? I want the old way back!

Ok, where the heck did the weekend go? It's back to Cinci for me tomorrow already. Doesn't seem like I had 3 days home....

DNA results have started to be posted for a Stiles cousin. Good news - he matches someone else in the Stiles DNA study. Bad news - that person does NOT match anyone else in the study. Results are only the 12 marker level so far, but I'm sure the rest will confirm the 12 marker results - call it a gut feeling. Sigh... I may NOT be a descendant of John Stiles who died in Connecticut in 1662 afterall...

So on my drive today, I got thinking about how much more research I want to do and in the different places I need to do it in. Then I thought about how much I will enjoy it. Then I realized that I will end up enjoying it even more because I will no longer be this heavy when I do the research next year!

Back in Cincinnati. Officially the temp is only 89. My car said it was 93. I swear it feels like 100 out there though...

I closed the Apple Store - well not quite, but almost. The one hour class turned into a 2 hour class and it wasn't the advanced class but it was the basic class. I did pick up another tip or two though.

I so want to go see HP7 pt2 - but I'm not allowed to drive yet. Maybe next week...
