Hi all: Just got my date for July 25th......excited and nervous. Waited over a year for my approval and can't back out now after fighting so hard for this. Not a youngster here so very concerned about complications. Just praying all goes smoothly with the surgery. After that it is my job to succeed. Hope to lose some weight and get off some of my medication that is dragging me down. Being banded by Dr. Geiss on Long Island NY.. Anyone else using this Dr. ????

Am having the lap band surgery on July 18, 2011 Will be 75 in Oct 2011. Have about 75 lbs to lose and can't wait to get started.

I am 75 yrs and am on preop.. I I have no medical problems but I am tired of hauling this weight around.. Its getting harder and harder and wondered if there was anyone out there in my shoes
