hi! I know exactly what you are going through, but I am doing my exercise everyday. My surgery was July 28th. I walked an hour everyday or I get on my Tony Little Gazelle machine. I also work 9 to 10 hours a day, but I have to exercise everyday. On weekends I take longer walks and I'm starting to love it. Only think I can tell you is that you have to make it a point to exercise everyday. Monday thru Friday I do the Gazelle an hour and on weekends I walk at a track. Good Luck to you.

My advice is to look at exercise as a job. Average people have to work. They have no choice. Don't make exercise an option, make it a necessity that you can't live without. Do what works for you. My day is long. I teach at the high school level, I tutor after school and I coach a dance team after that. Then I go home to a house filled with 4 kids. My days are never ending and exhausting. But I get up at 4 in the morning and get my one hour in. It is what works for me because I'm too tired and still too busy after work to get it in, in the evening. On my days off I concentrate on lifting, because now that school is back in session, lifting doesn't fit into my afternoons. Point is...I make and find the time. Tired or not, it is a must and necessity to live a longer and healthier life style. Not to mention that I love what it has done for my physique.
Hope you find an exercise and time that works for you!

EvEisMySleeve got a reaction from oceanbreeze in Actigall and vomitting
Hi everyone, I am just about 5 weeks post op and was given actigall recently. I took it with food as instructed, however 30 minutes after I threw up, first time since being sleeved, made me so nervous! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with this medication??

I use Miralax too but before I had bought anything mine got really really bad. I had to buy an enema. I know it is gross but I was in agony. I felt much better afterwards. Better to get a jump on it, I belong to a group of sleevers from July and the majority of us ALL have Constipation issues. Best of luck.

I have a huuuuuuge sweet tooth!! I actually received this advice from another sleeved. There is a machine called a Yonanas, it basically turns frozen fruit into a frozen yogurt consistency! It's amazing!! My favorite is strawberry banana. Highly recommended, you can order it on Amazon, I have also seen it a Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond. Awesome substitute for ice cream!

Thank you all so much!!! This was so encouraging and extremely helpful! I am definitely going to scale back to my liquid/super soft food stage. It did feel too fast, too soon for crackers and thicker foods.
This is a learning process and I appreciate the gentle reminder that we grow when we learn. I spent years not listening to my body and it got me up to 316 pounds. This amazing tool is teaching me something new....listen to what my new tummy is telling me. It's telling me to take it slow and BE PATIENT!!
Thank you all so much. Even though I've never met you, I know we all have this struggle in common.
