Sleevie and I are Maui bound in less than 12hrs!!! 8days with no scale is going to be tough but needed.

going to my first wls support group tonight. i am excited to speak with other wls peeps.

just got a gym membership.......they have a climbing wall and i now weigh less than the weight limit.

A little anxious my first day back to work is tomorrow....

1st follow up with PCP went well.

left the house for the first time in 6 days which is surreal for me. the break has been kind of nice.

Finally settling in on the loser's bench. Sleeved 12/6.

Back on track!! I found a new surgeon to take my case and will still be sleeved on 12/6!!!

In a few short hours I start my pre op liquid diet......kinda of excited.

I saw an Internal Med doctor for surgical clearance he says after looking at my abdominal ultrasound I may need to have my spleen and gallbladder removed also. Yikes! I'll find out for sure at my final appt with my surgeon on Wednesday.

3weeks til surgery. Pre op blood work shows I am a anemic. I take a MultiVitamin. I am now taking Iron supplements. Crossing my fingers hoping it doesn't effect me having surgery.

I got a date!!!! 12/6. I feel like this process has been the focus of this entire year. I can't wait to be sleeved!

Whoo hoo!!! Approved:) Now I just need the ins company to let the surgeon's office know so I can get scheduled. So excited!!!!

Insurance authorization submitted this week. I can't wait!!!

i am doing well. papers have just been submitted for ins approval. my surgery will probably be in November due to my work and my surgeon's schedule. how are you and sleevie doing?

EGD done this morning. I am so suprised at how easy it was

I went for a long walk and ended up injuring my foot. LOL! This surgery can't happen soon enough.
