Wow, congratulations! Thank you for sharing! What a difference!!!

We don't have kids either and I was fine alone at home while hubby was working. I went back to work a week after surgery and I was fine. Hubby helped with shopping bags every Saturday (he still does now, I love this new habit) and I too was able to prepare his dinner ever night. I think you'll be fine!

As you probably have already read in other topics all you're going through right now is absolutely normal! Most of us went from over excited to over worried... I definitely did, I couldn't really imagine my life without a part of my stomach or without overeating, but here I am happy with the decision I made and not regretting a single thing!
Are you following a diet right now?
What's your goal? How did you come to the decision to get the sleeve?
I wish you all the best for your surgery and these last weeks of preparation! I am sure you'll find the answers for most of your questions on this website.

I had food funerals for a month... Fast food and all things I love... My surgeon didn't ask me to go on liquid diet either... I guess I just needed to say goodbye to my old life...

Wow, the Caribbean! That's going to be SO nice! I bet you already see yourself lying on a white sand beach...
I am going to go to the beach too in August and feel the same... I need a tankini (I hate my scars)! I love the idea of not being the biggest person on the beach!!!

I guess there isn't much to say, I wish you all the best and hope everything is going to get back to normal for you as soon as possible.Thank you for sharing your experience.

I was driving a week later with no problems and the stitches still in

Even if it it hurt it's good that everything worked out and you could keep your piercing!

Thank you for sharing, you can definitely tell the big difference! Congratulations!

Wow! Congratulations!

How did I miss this topic??? Congratulations, dear! It's fantastic!
It's also great that you stopped weighing youself every single day, I am sure you won't be disappointed next time you do it again!
Great job, you are an inspiration for me!

Great job! Cogratulations! I bet your family will be really surprised!

I agree with Crosswind, Italians ARE evil...
Anyway it still happens to me too. I discovered that I don't tolerate meat anymore, I have to throw up every single time I eat it (except for baby food, which I am getting tired of).
Sometimes I get carried away, don't think about what I am doing (eating) and end up feeling nauseous all day, even if it's not meat.
I guess lasagne aren't the best choice for the first day of solid food, I'd give it another couple of months before trying them again!
Don't worry too much about it though, as you can see we all had similar experiences, it's hard to get to know the new stomach and our new relationship with different food...

You look great! Thank you for the update and good job! I love to hear such success stories!

75 pounds, wow! Congratulations! Good work!
It's so funny I live in a rural area with 3 red lights. I was the first sleever and now there are 4 of us. We outnumber the redlights in town.lol

Happy anniversary! Thank you for sharing, it's good to know you're still fine 2 years after surgery, gaining back everything is one of my biggest fears.
Have a great day!

Pizza... I had it like 6 weeks out. I heard that pizza in the USA is quite thick and completely different from the original Italian one. Here we have it were thin and very... How to explain? Soft, like juicy, the thin bread of the pizza is soaked in liquid Tomato sauce, that's why it was so easy to eat and digest! Sometimes I eat it, I avoid the crust (which is thick) and get simple toppings like just mozzarella, or mushrooms (no weird things like salami, for example)...
It didn't hurt my diet nor my digestion...

I totally agree with doggz109: hide the scale! I get my hubby to do it, I am allowed to weigh myself only on Saturdays, otherwise I would go insane. Also skinny people's weight fluctuates, it is absolutely normal!
-
Wow, 22 lbs in 9 days is a lot, good on you! And, of course, keep us updated!
-
Look at you! Wow, it's impressive! You must be so proud of yourself! I watched the video, your change is amazing!
Good job, congratulations!!!
-
I'd try it on anyway... Just to see how it looks! And, if you want, you can share a picture with us...
I personally would try it on every 10 pounds I drop, just to see the difference, eheh...
If you don't like it anymore you still have time to sell it and get a new one...

You look fantastic! How can you expect people not to touch that cute belly?! :preggers:
You look so happy!

What an odissey... How do you feel? Are you happy with the sleeve? I see you've lost 30 pounds since you got it, I can guess you're satisfied with the the results you're getting!
What all do you track?

I am a terrible example... I don't really track Proteins, Water etc...
I write down everything I eat everyday and the amount of calories that gives me... I don't track water, nor any other Fluid I drink (tea, soft drinks, camomile...)...
