I'd love to give you some words of widsom, but I'm not feeling very wise when it comes to the band these days ;) I guess the best I can say at this point is eat like you've got restriction whether you do or not, and hopefully just eating less over long periods of time will help decrease your appetite :)

  2. Printing out pages of food logs to bring to the nutritionist for my 6 month check-in tomorrow.

  3. Bought a size of pants I haven't worn since high school, which is funny since I weigh less now than I did then... darned kids!

  5. Got a fill today, and found out my nutritionist (who I LOVED) left the practice. WAAAAAAHHH!!!! :(

  6. The hardest thing about this band is convincing myself that I don't need to eat if I'm not hungry. Hunger seems to have so little to do with eating!

  7. I was just reading your post about eating using a "modified South Beach" diet- that's exactly what I do as well! One more way we're using similar approaches in this journey :)

  8. As of this morning I've officially lost 50 pounds. Words I've never before said in my life!

  9. I hate it when I'm done with dinner and 30 minutes later I'm still hungry. Like, legit hunger. :(

  10. I have 2 interviews in the next 24 hours and no shirts that fit. I tried a shirt I bought that had been too tight, so I socked it away- now it's too loose! Ugh!

  11. mint mochaccino shke this morning: 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon instant coffee crystals, 1 scoop double rich chocolate protein, generous shot of DaVinci Creme de menthe sugar free syrup,4 ice cubes. Mmmmmm.

  12. For the first time I can remember, my shoulders are just as tan as my forearms. I know I have batwings but I don't care if people see them. Yay summer!

  13. I caught a glimpse of my legs in the door reflection at the Y this morning. They're looking more like real legs and less like overstuffed pillows.

  17. Hiya! Your hair is so pretty <3 I do exercise, though not a super ton... probably in the gym 3 times a week (elliptical or water aerobics) and then I walk a mile or so with my kids once or twice a week. I've been trying hard to stick to the food rules but I do "cheat"- had an ice cream sandwich yesterday! ;)

  18. today is my 3 month surgiversary! I'm down 35 since surgery, for a total of 46... not bad at all!!

  21. Yesterday at my 4th fill the PA said "I know it must feel like you're losing slowly..." and actually, I don't feel that way. Now I'm wondering if I should!

  22. You're not that far from me- my ticker includes 11 lost before surgery. I'm sorry your doctor is so stingy with fills!!
