Chest wall reduction is when they remove the arm pit & back fat, the 3 rd & 4 th boob I call it. It's a incision along ur back & side brra line.

Congratulations on ur surgery! 4-6 was my 1 yr bandaversary. The first couple of weeks r rough. Take it easy... I took 2 wks off, I'm a nurse @ a hospital & it was hard when I went back. Can u have soft food like cottage cheese? That always helped give me a boost.

I hear u there! I always think to myself "if a stranger were to describe me would they say I'm a bigger girl still?" Granted I'm a 14 & do still have a good 30 lbs to get to goal.

Fabulous! I'm currently in a 14 as well, down from a 26 1yr ago. Doesn't it feel good to venture into the "normal " clothing sizes!

Ur arms look great! I'm scheduled May 3rd for brachioplasty & chest wall reduction. Not looking forward to the pain. Did u have to wear a compression garmet? My doc says I'll be in one for a month

I stick to around 600 calories per day. I loose about 10 lbs a month that way. I usually start my day off with a smoothie & nipple the rest of the day.

Just have to let everyone know.... The ninja blender is awsome!!!! If you are a smoothie person you need to invest in one.

I make smoothies with frozen greek yogurt (I freeze it in ice cube trays), frozen fruit, & almond milk (chocolate ).

I set my main goal, 2 b 150 lbs, & then i set minthly goals of 7~10 lbs per month. This has kept me on track & with the exception of 1 month, which I had had an unfill, I have met this goal.

May 3rd I will be getting my arms done! It is my bandivrrsary gift to myself. My 1 yr is April 6th & I'm down 105 pounds! !!!! I'm also having my chest wall area done to get rid of my 4th boob. Lol

My brachioplasty is 4000$ but I'm going to do my chest wall, the 4th boob bra area also, so it's going to b 6200$. I figure if I'm going under the knife I might as well go all the way. My surgery is scheduled for May 3rd & I will be off work till the 24th but with a 15 lb wt restriction up to 1 month after. Thankfully I work Nicu so all I lift is tiny premie babies

So April 6th will be 1 yr banded... doen 105 lbs thus far!!!!! Looking back @ my struggles I still wouldn't change a thing I have gone from 284 lbs wearing a size 26 jeans to 179 lbs & a size 14 jean!

For those of u struggling or just starting your journey hang in there! It was the best decision of my life & I wouldn't change a thing.

For my 1 yr gift to myself I'm getting brachioplasty, having my bay wing arms cut off

I still have about 30 lbs to go to get to my goal but I feel confident I will be there by mid summer.

The scale can really mess with ur head. I always go onto it thinking it is a range of +2 to -2 of my actual weight.

On post op day 5 I sat in the shower and cried for an hour. I was so hungry & depressed. I didn't think I. Would ever survive. Here I am 10 months later and down 94 pounds!

It's hard to see the big picture when you've seen yourself in the mirror every morning. Even my husband says it's hard for him to realize how much weight I've lost bc he sees me every day. When we look back @ old pics is when it hits home!

I'm right there with you guys. I was banded April 2011 lost 94 lbs by January & then got an unfil bc I was having a lot of trouble with solid food. Since my unfil January 19th I have gained 4 lbs & find myself going back to bad habits. It's hard loosing 10 lbs a month 9 months straight & then nothing! I am very disappointed in myself:( However I have come to realize that this affirms why I got the band. I need it to help me & I haven't truly fixed my mind yet.

Thank you I needed to hear that. I had an unfill mid January & have been bouncing up & down 3 lbs ever since. The reason i got unfilled was so I could consume enough calories to work out, I was eating 600/day prior to that. So I've been busting my butt at the gym eating healthy & not seeing results. So i decided to say screw it & get a fill... well i can't get in until March 6th So i have a few more weeks to keep working at it.

I truely wait 1 to 2 between each bite. Easier when eating alone. I know I've ate to much if i get a sharp pain in my left shoulder.
