  1. Last week I went for a fill even though I was at good restriction... I know I know that was naughty! My doc even said when I first swallowed the barium that I was still pretty tight from my last fill. But I figured since my doc does it under fluoro that it'd be ok. Well unfortunatly I am beginning to realize that I am way to tight I am struggling with going back for a slight unfil. I have to drive 2 and a 1/2 hrs to see my doctor and I'm terrified he'll take to much out and then I'll start eating like crazy. Can some people who have had an unfill tell me what they experienced? Did you still loose weight? Were you starving?
  2. I feel so much better! He had put .5 mls in last week & when I went in he wanted to take out 1 ml. I told him "No way Mr.!" Lol. We agreed upon removing .7 ml & he told me he'd do my next fill for free. I instantly felt like I could breath again & swallow my saliva! Lol. I actually got solid food down that night! I'm just prying I don't gain a bunch of weight now...
  3. I finally hit the teens again! Bought a pair of Silvers in an 18 . I'm pretty sure I made my last clothing trip to Lane Bryant, everything I bought was a 14/16! I got in a size 16 skirt! Last but not least I fit into fit into a size large dress I bought back in July for my upcoming trip to Las Vegas!
  4. Yeapers been on liquids the whole time I've lost 8 lbs this week! I am actually going to see my doctor tomorrow to have a slight unfill. Sucks b/c it's a 2 and a 1/2 hr drive each way to go to my doctor. But I am getting really sick of smoothies and Water . Hoping to feel better by the end of the weekend!

    Tummy Tuck approved by insurance?

    From what I've seen on here you have to have a lot of skin problems to get it approved. Yeast infections & rashes... So on & so on. But it never hurts to call your insurance company to see exactly what they need to cover it.
  6. I decided to go in for a slight unfill. Monday I couldn't even keep liquids down. I decided that since I am going on a vacation to Vegas in a couple of weeks I don't want to risk being miserable & also risk a slip while I am there. I think if I just have a lil bit removed I will feel much better.
  7. I'm a week out and still feeling really tight. I am seriously considering going in for an unfill... but I am not 100% sure.

    Eating Samples!

    I eat a lot of cottage cheese! Today my hubby, who is an execuative chef, made me up a batch of the most delicious egg salad. I pretty much ate egg salad & wheat ritz.crackers all day. Lol. I also try to drink yo on the go, a yougurt smoothie, every day. Occaddionally I make my self mini pizzas on small tortilla shells. I don't do well with beef any more, sad b/c I used to love steak, so I eat mostly chicken.

  11. I found yo on the go, it's a yougurt based smoothie, tastes good. It's got 6 gms of protein. I to hate protein shakes. I think I may try the ensure high protein b/c I am having a hard time getting enough calories in.

    I just ordered a body bugg sp, the one that connects to your phone. I was just curious if anyone out there has one and if they like it. Do you feel like it's acurate and also do you feel like it has helped you in your weight loss journey. Thanks!
  14. I went for a fill today, I was still pretty tight and my doc uses fluoroscopy so I only got .5 cc's. I set up an appt to talk to the dietician while I was there and we discussed daily recommended calorie intake. I ended up fessing up to my battle with anoxeria and bulemia issues that I've been having the past few months. She initially recomended 1300 cal/day. I struggle to eat 600-800/day... The thought of eating that much really freaked me out! She was very supportive and I am going to starting working really hard to consistently eat at least 800 cal/day. Wish me luck!

    Fessed up

    I am currently in therapy which has helped a lot. Starvation mode is a real thing I found out... Ate 200~300 cal/day & worked out like crazy, didn't loose a bit of weight! Started working on eating again & bam dropped 4 lbs in 5 days! The dietician said that they have encountered this in the past but that most peoe are reluctant to admit it. It's very easy to trade one type of eating disorder for another unfortunatly

    FEELING KINDA BLAH!

    The second fill was the key one for me. Just had my fourth fill in 6 months today. Down 64 lbs in 6 months! It'll pick up but it's hard to not see the scale move.

    Too little or Just right

    The dietician @ my focs office recomends me to eat 1300/day. I can't physically, or mentally, do that so right now we are aiming gor 800/day with a goal to get me up to @ least 1,000/day eventually.
  19. I had my 4 th fill today almost 2 months after my 3rd. I have great restriction I just wanted to get a couple more fills in before the yr ends & my deductible starts all over. My foc fills under fluro.to ensure u don't get over filled.
  20. If your hungry get a fill, it will help briefly but the first fill doesn't do much. If u feel like ur starving try calling ur doc. Maybe he will let u advance to soft foods. Mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, eggs, etc... Those will fill u up
  21. R u working out right before bed? That may get ur endorphines going & make it hard to sleep... Or maybe u need to do a light stretching & deep breathing before u go to bed. I work nights that's why I have trouble sleeping
  22. I think I am entering a zone of good balance with food & exercise. Im finally see the scale drop & I am feeling good. I have learned that major calorie restriction, talkin 200~300/day, & major hard core bootcamp workouts on top of it will put ur body in total starvation mode & u won't loose any weight! I am now trying my best to eat @ least 600~800 cals per day & I am doing a light 25~30 min workout everyother day. Short cardio, light weight,situps, planks, & stretchinh Oh & therapy never hurts! Lol

  24. Take a deep breath! Don't panic u'll b ok! R u starting to change ur diet & exercise now? If so u shouldn't need hcg... When u start out on proteins canned chicken, tuna, lunch meat all work well Does ur doctors office have.a nutrtionist? The main thing is that u want to speak to a person who knows aboit lapband. Im 6 months out & dwn 64 lbs & Im meeting with my docs nutritionist this week when I get my fill. They are a great resource. There r tons of support groups, finding one shouldnt b hard.
  25. I have so many things in my closet like this! Lol.. I luv fitting into new stuff.& tossing the old When I shop a lot of times I.buy the things I like in a size.down, so I keep my modivation. I have a super cute black dress I want to wear in Vegas, Im going nov 9 thru the 18th, its still.a bit snug but Im getting filled in a couple of days. Praying that helps!
