    I don't get the "don't eat bread"

    I don't eat soft bread....feels awful in my tiny tummy. It's like it grows and it hurts. BUT, I do have a whole wheat tortilla a couple times a week. Also, I have PCOS and am HIGHLY sensitive to bread and sugar...so I steer clear of the bread and most of the time sugar. I struggle with saying no to sugar far more than the bread though. Just my 2 cents!

    Why am I hungry?

    Disney - I think you have something there!! I've been having what I thought was hunger pains, but since upping my ppi...i only "feel" hungry after about 5 or 6 hours! Weird that acid could be causing that! LOL!

    B - Fage strawberry yogurt L - Melba toast with salsa chicken, cream cheese and artichoke antipasto D - fried cheese, 2oz fajita chicken with tiny bit of guacamole, sour cream and cheese (dinner at chili's with my hubby!) S - box of goobers at the movies! Calories - 1176 Protein - 64 So enjoyed going out with my hubby and enjoyed everything I ate.....even the goobers! And I only went 176 calories over my calorie count! WooHoo!!

    B - one egg with cheese L - tuna salad with gluten free crackers D - Polish sausage and broccoli S - chili w/cheese, pepperoni w/cream cheese Calories - 991 Protein - 66 Vit - done! Water - done! Exercise - 2 hours of constant housework

    How many calories???

    Hi, fellow sleevers!! I just had a quick question! I'm 6 weeks post op and was wondering how many calories I should be taking in at this point? I'm getting anywhere from 800 to 1000 calories a day....is that good? Is it too much? I just didn't get much direction on calories....just that I should get a minimum of 60g of Protein a day from my dr's office. Thanks a bunch!!!

    I'll share! It's Easter Sunday so I splurged a little (it was my first experience with dessert and it will be my LAST!! I felt terrible afterward!!) B - Protein shake L - hamburger patty, tomato slice, cheese slice, 2 bites of pot. salad, one devilled egg, small serving of chocolate layer dessert. D - sourdough grilled ck sand from Jack in the Box....took me an hour to eat it! S - 2 bite size twix, cheddar/mozzerela cheese stick Not too bad really!! But I really learned my lesson with the dessert.....I felt shaky and my heart was racing and I got a headache....not worth it!!

    B - cottage cheese L - homemade chili with cheese D - pinto Beans and a tiny bit of DH's chicken fried steak (FIL's birthday dinner) S - 2 Protein shakes Protein - 105g V - done W - working on it....haven't gotten all of it in since Tuesday...I'm DOING it today!! E - maybe?

    How many calories???

    Oh, good!!! I'm finding that I'm losing better (and feeling better) at 1k and as long as I'm following lean Protein first, I'm not having a problem with going over my calories! It's just SO weird, before surgery I struggled a LOT with a 1800 calorie diet....now I feel VERY full after eating 1k calories in a day! Crazy!!

    How do you manage to cook for family right after?

    I bought corn dogs, frozen pizza's, canned soups, mac & cheese......easy stuff my family could fix themselves. I didn't feel like cooking for about 2 weeks and it was hard for me not to taste the food I was cooking after I got back to cooking meals again (while on liquids). I felt bad feeding my family such junk, but I really didn't feel like cooking for the first 2 weeks. Btw, I'm a SAHM and my family is used to home cooked meals.....needless to say, they were VERY ready for me to start cooking again after 2 weeks of "instant" food!! LOL!

    Weight GAIN this week!!!!

    Ok....I've heard about the dreaded 3 week stall, but I'm 5 weeks out today and I GAINED 1.8lbs!! What in the world?? I'm sticking to a low-carb (30g or less), high protein (90g) diet; I started working out last week; I'm getting in all my water.......I have no idea what's going on. I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing, because, up until now, it's been working! Any suggestions? Thanks, Bewildered and Confused in Texas

    Ok....I took miralax 2 days last week, ate well everyday but Sunday. That day I went over 800 calories! But I've had a 2.8lb loss for this week! Something worked! LOL! Thanks so much, everyone!! I'm back to losing!! Whew!!

B - Morning Star sausage patty, one egg with a little cheese L - boar's head lunchmeat with laughing cow cheese D - 4 cheesy meatballs and broccoli S - sargento's cheese stick, beef Jerky, popsicle Total Protein - 94g Total calories - 968 V - taken this morning! W - working on it....slowly. E - I've been bad about this lately....I will walk during the biggest loser!

    Staying Hydrated

    I haven't had a hard time getting 72oz or more a day in since 2 weeks after surgery! The first 2 weeks it was REALLY slow going. Now, I'm 6 weeks post op and can swallow 3 tsp at a time! It's great! No worries!

    Ok, PCOScysters....A few questions

    I have pcos too and although my cycles haven't gotten regular yet, I'm hoping they will!! I was wondering how that would work if/when they do!! (sorry I wasn't helpful!!) Congrats on the 80# weightloss!! AWESOME!!!!!

    I've lost 37 lbs!!!

    I just can't get my head wrapped around just how much my body has changed in the last 6 weeks!! It's amazing! I'm absolutely thrilled with my sleeve! Look out, World, here I come!! LOL!! Ok, here are some pics from when I weighed 299.2 lbs and pics from today with me weighing 262.2 lbs!

    Thank y'all so much!!! Everyday I get up and put on old clothes just to take them off again and put them in a bag to give away! Just amazing!! I'm so thankful for my surgery!! It truly is the best thing I've done for myself in a very long time!!

    I'll be 4 weeks out tomorrow and today I ate.... B - Chobani bluberry yogurt (only 2/3rds of it) - 10.5g Protein L - 4 cheesy meatballs - 30g protein D - scallops and a small bit of broccoli - 29.54g protein Snacks - tuna salad (3oz), one fudgesicle and 2 Peanut Butter crackers - 23.82g protein Total protein - 93.86g Total calories - 891 (I'm pretty proud that I'm able to get my protein in through food now!)
