  1. Oh I forgot... After weight loss I had a tummy tuck to get rid of the excess skin on my abdomen.. I work out my arms and legs and did not have a problem with excess skin there Thank God!

  2. kari,

Approximately 21/2 weeks after surgery I started walking.. Around 4wks I was doing cardio and light weights... I increased the exercise time in incraments. I was given a food journal by my surgeon that listed what I should be eating at what month through this journey... I stuck by my regimen religously. It slowly introduced foods and I felt accountable for what I was eating for the first time in my life. Every dr is different.. If you want I can scan what i ate and can send it to you via email.. You can compare information that you were given. Don't get discouraged! It's a matter of finding what works for you...This manual is about 7 pages long and it tells you what I ate for the first 12 months.

  3. I didn't keep track Cass...but from what I remember I lost pretty quickly...5-6 lbs a week consistent for probably first 3 months... then the rest of the lbs came off slower.. It's so much harder to take off the last few lbs. I started exercising the day I was given the ok too, and that was consistent. I was sooo motivated to lose it... how are u doing?

  4. I had surgery 4-8-10.... I reached my goal in less then 6 months.... after that it's been exercise, strength training.....hard work to keep it off! I feel so much better physically, mentally, and emotionally...
