hi..i've been banded on 17th march...all was well till my 1st visit to my doc....she has stopped all my painkillers...as they may form an ulcer....

and I have severe arthritis...and now walking is become so difficult....my legs are like lead....

does anyone have a similar problem..

hi....yes I'm having protien shakes...and for mushies its a paste of pulses, little rice, and some veggies...I also have oats and scrambled egg...but I do want to eat normal food...

I have been banded 3 weeks....am having milk shakes and puried food.< /p>

But I'm confused ..how often should we eat...I thought every 2 hrs...but I'm not loosing weight..

can anyone guide me please...

maybe the gap between meals is too much.... then the body goes into starvation mode and we dont loose weight.

hi....i ve been banded on 17th march...and I had no pain at all...ofcourse we are given painkillers thru saline...and then orally also..

But I did have gas and vomitting....first 10 days I had a lot of gas....and weakness...

Thanks a lot...I too have got swelling in the third week and was getting worried....

since there is no pain there is no infection...and maybe a few changes in the diet have caused it...

wonderful post....yes we all have been so dependant on food to get out of our problems...isnt it...

and now food our best friend is just not there for us...we have to think 10 times...should I have this...i better not...

but we are much better off and soon will get over this dependency on food...

maybe you should stick to light exercises.I too tried some exercises and got a swelling.

I think the insides take almost 2 months to heal.

even I am having swelling after almost 3 weeks. I had 2 threptin biscuits today. I think thats the problem.

I have been banded 3 weeks ago and only 3 days back I have got a swelling on the port area. Is it because of the semi solids that I am having?

There is no pain but only swelling. Please help.

hi every one.....I am also so tired....its the third week now...having prtien shakes and baby food...but no stamina...just tired..and worst thing is I dont even get sleep....But my weight loss is good so far...13 lbs almost..

[ hi.....dont worry....looks like ur body has gone into starvation mode....walk a lot...drink something every 2 hrs..and have lots of Water....im sure u'll loose weight...
