hi....our bodies respond differently isnt it... I too am not loosing..but I have understood 3 things...drink plenty of Water, eat lot of Proteins and exercise....

and i am not doing these regularly...so I cant blame the band...

but I am happy I put the band..at least i eat less and stopped putting on weight..all the best to all of us slow loosers..

hi...even I am not loosing...tho I eat lot of protein..our bodies resist a lot..it is a combination of exercise, high Protein diet and lots of water....combine all three stop junk food and you will loose.

hi..I have osteo..had it since 10 yrs...cant walk much....why do u need so many medicines....instead why not take glucosomine, Omega 3.as supplements.< /p>

i DID NOT HAVE DIABETES TILL NOW BUT NOW i AM SUSPECTING IT.TOO THRISTY ALL THE TIME..AND GOING TO THE LOO SO OFTEN....

i HAVE ARTHRITIS AND Omega 3 HELPS MY JOINTS. IS IT OK TO SWALLOW IT? IT HAS A BAD SMELL TASTE SO CHEWING IT IS NOT SUCH A GOOD IDEA.DOES ANYONE SWALLOW THESE GLOBULES.

hi...actually we are not advised to eat bread..pasta....but if u do eat it...chew for a long time and then swallow....vomiting all the time is bad for the band my doctor said......take care...

so true...we have put on this weight after yrs of wrong food habits...it will surely take a long time...body resists a lot....

actually doctors confuse us. what is equally important is having Proteins and drinking plenty of Water. When ever I drink less water my weight goes up.I loose when I have more proteins and drink lots of water.

you should have Protein Shakes, cheese ,chicken.try to keep a count of the gms.we need around 50 gms of Protein daily to loose weight.

have less of carbs that is Pasta rice piza...and more of Proteins.< /p>

cheer up...share your diet and exercise routine here....many will guide and motivate you.

I too was so so depressed....but I read one post and really got motivated...now with proper changes in my diet I am at last loosing...

hi all...even I have been too frustrated..but at last I think I have found the answer...go on eating proteins....now I have Protein Shakes, chicken, cheese eggs....and finally it comes to 50 gms ....earlier I was a veggie and my Proteins were a pathetic 20 gms or 30 gms.

great post...i have started loosing....yipee..now i have eggs cheese,chicken and protien milk shakes....all together more than 50 gms protien....

wow..what an informative post this is...I have been eating hardly 30 to 40 gms protien,somedays even less....no wonders my body is not responding...

thanks for motivating me...i was operated on 11th march 2011. I have had 2 fills,very good restriction. my wt was 92kg....i came down to 85 kg in 6months. this may (15th may 2012) I had liposuction.removed 14 lbs fat. I went down to 80 kg...now again I am putting on ..today I am 83.5..

today I have decided to do weights...3 times a day...today I have had 50 gms protein...I hope the body responds...

I have severe arthritis....cant walk much....am slow with all activities...hence low metabolism...

hi..lipo will not treat arthritis...but i have huge thighs..and that weight was bad for my knees....even if i go for a knee transplant...that weight will be a problem....now hopefully with lighter legs i will walk better. i live in india....we dont have warm pools and no pools for elderly or disabled...

the band has stopped working.... and cant walk much due to arthritis...so i have done liposuction...on thighs and hips..

now once I am recovered hopefully i will walk better and band will also work.

does anyone have a similar story..

thanks all for your encouragement. I have good restriction cant eat much....but I am not exercising and that s my problem.....and I am having only 20 25 gms of protien maximim....

why do we put on weight so easily after the band surgery?? If I eat protiens I am fine...but if I have normal food...uff...i have put on 1 kg in a day...so frustrating...

and in India we dont have many options for protiens...we dont get all the non veg varieites that you get in other countries...

and one cant go on eating cheese and pulses....I am very much depressed.
