Yes I got my approval and had a sleeve gastrectomy. So far I've lost 75 pounds, I had surgery on 4/18/11

After going to the weight loss class that Allina put on, and with some input from my primary care doctor I chose Dr. Peter Kelly. Their support group is just a come and join them. You don't need to register or anything. I'll be happy to answer any questions if I can.

I too had the St Paul Surgeon's and don't regret my decision at all. There is a support group of their's that meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Wildwood Lodge Hotel. It is at 7pm and it is at the intersection of I94 east and Radio Drive in the NE corner of the interchange. I went before I had surgery and was glad I did, it gave me some additional information and felt good.
