  1. If i weigh my food how much should i be eating? sometimes i cant eat and others i can eat everything on my plate.
  2. My doctor does both. Every other one is a standard fill. He does not numb the site either.

  5. I made egg salad today and I can eat that just fine. Funny how I have a problem with scrambled eggs.
  6. I was banded on May 18th. Starting weight was 283lbs I am now at 240lbs. Everything is going great I have had 2 fills so now i have 4cc in my band. I def. fill alot more restriction but I dont think i'm at my sweet spot. Keep up the good work everyone.

  10. Your liver should be fine. I know some people that didn't even have to do a pre-op diet..

  14. I was banded on May 18th also. I'm lucky I didn't have much incision pain and the gas pain was minimal. I have to be on clear liquids for a week before I can go to full liquids. I'm not having any problems swallowing my liquids. The protein shakes I'm on are called Necter. I really like the cappiccino one. Another good one is called Matrix Milk Chocolate by Syntrax its really good. Taste just like chocolate milk.
  15. I was banded on Wed. everything went great. The pain wasnt to bad. I did have some gas pain yesterday but today I feel great. A little bit of incision pain but it is very minimal. Over all everything went great.
  16. I am going to be banded on the 18th also and i have to do the 10 day diet also but mine consist of 2 protein shakes and 1 small meal ( a small piece of meat and some non starch veggies ) and the last 2 days will be liquid only. Hope this helps..Good luck to you on your surgery.

  20. Hello everyone, I'm new here and I was just wondering if anyone could help me on the whole process with Tricare Reserve Select. I'm not to sure how it work with out of pocket cost, how much will I have to pay if my catastrophic cap is already met. I just kinda want to know what to expect. Thanks everyone..
  21. Hello I have Tricare Reserve Select and u seam to know alot about what to expect and what to do. I have my first visit with the doctor next week. I guess my question is what should I expect my out-of-pockect cost to be? My catastrophic cap has been met or very close to being met. Can u pls help me? Thanks
