  1. So I went in talked to the PA we decided that, I did need an un-fill. So that was 9 days ago, I weighed this morning and I am up 8 lbs. :( so, granted I was eating pretty restricted, and now I'm able to eat more balanced and more of a healthy "bandster" diet. But 8 lbs........geeeez I'm already, ready for a fill. She took out 1.6 so that leaves me w/ 6.1. I'm battling hunger...I have been eating more, but not 8 lbs! I hope I level off soon. So much nicer when the scale is going down and not ^.

  2. My last fill was .2 in March & I've been fine......but Apparently my band is VERY receptive to stress & since I can't eat my feelings any more and have to feel them......I was thinking my quality of life might improve with a tinsy unfill.

Did yours help u? Where you were use to being "tighter", then had an unfill were u still in the green zone? This is my first unfill, I'm nervous...thanks for responding!

  3. Hello, I'm currently @ 7.7 in a 10 cc band. I've had restriction for a while now, I've been banded for 16 months. Now w/ the heat, stress @ work, and just getting over bronchitis.....I'm TIGHT. Ive been mildly uncomfortable for about a week and half. I'm not getting any better on my own and things are only getting worse at work. I wld say @ a sitting I can eat .5 to 1 ounce of meat and I can't eat any more. I know if I continue I'll be sick and that is my last resort. The scale is going down, but this is so unhealthy. Any suggestions as to how much much I shld have taken out....I was thinking .5 but I still want to leave the dr. Office in the green zone. My weight loss as of this am was 76.2. TIA Kelli

  4. I was banded March 16 2011. 115? That is amazing :) I'm @ 75.2 as of this morning. I hate that you are having trouble, are u stressed, heat, Tom, anything out of the norm got you in fits? My band is so moody/fickle and I don't always know before hand, she's in a mood again! Maybe just keep trying what your doing lots of Soup, broth, Fluid and maybe everything, will settle back down. Hope you get soe relief soon!

  5. THe last couple of times, I've been swimming especially in inground pools my band gets extremely TIGHT. I can't eat anything solid right now :( I've been banded around 16 months. I've been losing fine & wld consider myself in the green zone.

    Anyone else have this experience?

    Tia Kelli

  6. I so feel your pain on this. I've always had really pretty, thick hair. I'm 15 months post-op. in the beginning, I didn't take my Vitamins how I shld. :( now I've tried to really get it growing in again. I have lots of thinning in the main front. I've tried Redken system for hair loss......no luck currently using the aveda products.....hope they help & I also take 5000 Biotin & vitamins everyday now.

  7. I used my card Friday @ applebees and got a kids grilled chicken sandwich, took off the bun dipped in honey mustard and was good to go. So far all the servers have been really nice in many different restaurants. Sometimes I'll say I've had surgery and can only eat small portions, other times I'll have enough left over from a regular meal to eat around 3 meals. My surgeons office gave me a paper card, then lapband mailed me a hard plastic one w/ my name and surgery date on it.

  8. I'm 13 months out now.......but in the beginning I had lots of nausea. I was so scared of getting sick/vomiting. It eventually went away, but I believe that was my hunger feeling returning, it was just in the form of nausea, much different then what It use to. Be patient & don't be so hard on yourself......look @ the big picture. When I started this process I was 266.8 this morning I was 199.4. My son turned10 in Feb when I found out I was preggers I was 204 so this is least I've weighed in a decade!
