  4. hello! i am a year out and can eat rice. I will eat like an oz or 2 of brown rice. i love sushi and can have a few pieces with no problem
  5. im sorry to hear this maybe your meds have affected your weight loss? I too have always been able to eat more than the average sleever. ANd my weight loss has stopped . Slowly losing maybe a few oz here and there. But its barely moving. Keep your head up. HOpe everything works out for you!
  6. We...im 9 months out and down 66 lbs. My weight loss has almost been non-existant since last year. ive upped my excercise, lowered my calories, increase Protein, lowered carbs everything . And my weight loss is still at a snails pace....i am thankful for what ive lost so far. My clotes are falling off of me. I started out size 22 pants, wearing a size 12 now ...but i just wish my scale would be nice to me too........................ but i am thankful! This is hard, not knowing if my body is done losing weight, but i can't be done. Im not done until i reach the goals i have set for myself. And even if they take longer than a year...im still in it for the long run take care everyone
  7. Susan, so are we supposed to be eating at least 1200 calories during our losing phase? Im 8 months out and have stalled / slowed down since November. And i can't seem to jump start my weight loss. I sometimes get in 900 calories, but never hit 1200. Any advice you can give me would be great!!!!
  8. I will admit, i am a bit discouraged about my weight loss. I am 8 months out and have lost only 62lbs or so. Since November, my weight loss has slowed tremendously and have since only lost maybe 6lbs. If that! Im scared that i won't hit goal. I want to be down to 125 and that just seems so far away. I know that i would not have been able to lose the 60lbs without my sleeve and my health has improved drastically because of the sleeve. But i just wish i was one of the sleevers that the weight just melted off. I am thankful for my tool, but there are times i feel like my tool is broken

  10. wow you all are doing so good with your weight loss. I would love to be at least 80lb loss seems soooooo far away
  11. just wanted to thank everyone for the advice on this thread. im struggling ( been struggling ) and i am so scared that ive hit a wall, and this is where ill be stuck at . Im working really hard at it, and now im soooo scared that this is it. I wonder if theres any long term sleevers that hit that " surgery max weight loss " and never loss anything else. i hope that isnt true. I really do
  12. i did increase my calories to 1000 or 1100 max burning at least 250 from excercise. My body seems stuck
  13. no worries! i do count carbs and usually its under 40. but since last week, ive eaten only protein (except for the carbs in my green veggies...) i did lose 3 lbs but gained 2 since last night. I know i didn't eat 2 lbs worth!! ive just been losing the same lbs over and over!!
  14. hi everyone! im 6.5 months out, sleeved on June23rd 2011> been in a stall for the past 3 months. ANyone else the wall???
  15. thank you everyone! LissynTx you are very right. I do have some excess skin already but im sure it could be a lot worse. When i graph my loss, it looks typical. Like stairs...but its so frustrating to not see the numbers go down faster. I was losing soooo good months back, and now im praying for 5 months in a month! Its hard trying to figure out my body. I don't have know my sleeve yet and its been 6 months. Some people have figured out how their weight loss goes. ( loss for a few weeks, stays the same the other 2 weeks etc) I still don't know my body. Ive upped my calories to about 1000 now. And ive been doing Diva's basic boot camp, so ive lost a few lbs. I eat primarily protein ( good quality food 90% of the time) and green veggies. ive totally cut out rice etc...and still i haven't seen this HUGE weight loss yet. But i am thankful for the 3 ive lost since i started the basics boot camp. Im just so worried about not reaching goal before my one year. I only have 40 lbs to go. And that seems sooooooo far away right now. Thanks for all the encouragement everyone. I am doing things the right way, and i guess i was just hoping to see a bigger difference sooner.
  16. how much are you eating? And how soon after are you drinking? Im so sorry you are having such a hard time.
  17. i was told it is impossible to stretch our stomachs. And i too have been in a stall since October. But I hope i lost 3 lbs this week doing straight protein. And hopefully it doesn't fluctuate back up. I know how frustrating it is. And im right there with you. I have heard of others that had stalls, but eventually did reach goal. So it is possible even though it seems so difficult right now. Good luck
  18. im 6 months out and eat about 5-6 oz. hope that helps. Ive always felt like i could eat more than every other sleever. But my surgeon said that i was ok
