4 days post-op. Can't believe how well it's going, but I'll take it. I've been logging everything. Seems like a full time job tracking water, "food", meds, draining the JP drain. I know myself up real close and personal now! Never thought much about chicken soup, but I'm SOOOO lovin' it now. Got the 60 grams of protein and the water in today! I even walked for 30 minutes on my treadmill this afternoon. The hardest part? I want to do more, but k...

I'm sleeved! Yay me!! Just got home from the hospital about an hour and a half ago. So good to be back home and ready to get this journey underway! Surgery went well, but now I'm feeling like I've been stomped to the ground. Think it must be time to rest...

Getting closer, starting to feel "real". Had all the preop testing done this morning -- Upper GI, Chest Xray, Blood work. Had a stress test last week. Started the CPAP last Monday. I'm so glad I've passed all these tests (because I didn't study at all). April 26th at 10:00 am. Wow!

In day 5 of the 14 day pre-op diet. Harder than I thought, but the encouragement from my VSG support team is helping strengthen my resolve. Thanks Jodi. I CAN DO THIS. I'm on my way to the new me and nothing's gonna stop me!!
