  1. 4 weeks stalled. so bizarre. i've tried everything i can think of. no clue how to get the scale moving.

  2. 3 weeks stalled :-( am eating about 800-1000 calories a day and exercising but no scale action. not losing inches either. i don't need a fill because i have good restriction so i don't know what else to try! trying not to lose hope.

  3. feeling good. just waiting for my 2 week stall to change!

  4. 3 weeks post op today and i FINALLY feel normal! very happy about that.

  5. chest/band pain finally went away mid day today and have felt good the rest of the day. am cautiously optimistic, hoping it's gone for good now...

  6. had chest pain again all afternoon and night yesterday, despite feeling good in the morning. seeing my dr finally tomorrow or tues. waiting to hear. i have a feeling he's going to want to take the band out, which i would have to pay another $16k to do. $32k down the drain for 3 weeks of a nightmare. so sad. i just want the pain to be gone though. :-(

  7. ahhhh finally woke up this am feeling normal!

  8. whew, 4 hours in the ER. band was too tight and that's why it was causing chest pain. they extracted a bunch of air from it and am feeling better. still feeling like i'm regretting getting surgery. it's been really rough. hoping it's like having a baby and you forget all the pain :-)

  9. can't wait until i feel normal. i am beginning to wonder if that's going to happen! slept 12 hours last night and the night before. still super slow and lethargic. dr's office trying to find me another dr to see about the chest pains since mine is out of town. ugh. 2.5 weeks in and wondering if i made a huge mistake by doing this.

  10. over 2 weeks since surgery and i still don't feel too great. have to take a nap every day, having chest pains after eating sometimes and my upper back hurts. no clue what that is. i didn't have gas problems early on so it can't be that this late? dr is out of town until april 11th :-(

  11. surprised by how long the healing process is taking. thought i would totally normal by 2 weeks. good to see the scale slowly moving though. am off work until june unless another short term job comes up. but i'm going to enjoy this time off. after working 80 hour weeks for the past 6 mos, i don't know what to do with myself with free time!

  12. upped calories from 700 to 1000 and started losing again, yay! hope it keeps going and doesn't stall again.

  13. 2 weeks post op: good restriction may not need a fill for a while. can only seem to get in 650 cal a day. haven't lost any weight in a week since i started on food. i add chicken and fish tomorrow. bad news: weak and fatigued and no weight loss. good news: no nausea or vomiting and restriction with no fill. not sure if all this was worth the $16k i paid. will have to wait much longer to see.

  14. good luck tomorrow! hope everything goes great.

  15. i have really good restriction with no fill. i wonder if it will stick or eventually decrease.

  16. i knew i would stop losing for a while when going from liquid diet to real food, but that doesn't mean that i'm not mad about it!

  17. went for my 1 week post surgery follow up appt today and they took off the bandages beacause they hadn't fallen off yet and he wanted to check the incisions. they look great! i was expecting them to look red and horrible and they don't. some are just a small dot. then i got the ok to eat an egg and i drove straight to a restaurant and ate a scrambled egg. veerrrryyy slowly. it was the best damn egg i've ever had. no problems at all. so happy!

  18. can't believe how excited i am to eat a hard boiled egg later this week! SO excited.

  19. whew, finally feeling good today!! almost back to normal after surgery.
