  1. Well, I def had my BIG meal for breakfast! Fixed "pigs in a blanket" for the Grands and ate four then realized five has 410 calories! update:: Now I make mine with four "pigs" to ONE crescent roll dough. Think that is meaning one whole crescent roll per "pig" cause a crescent only has 100 calories and the package says 7 smokies is 100! MfP is Wrong! So I only had about 160 calories! WHEW!
  2. I felt the same way yesterday on norm day. Still only had 960 calories before exercise but seemed to be eating all day! And something I haven't had much at all- the feeling of burning in my throat (heartburn I guess). Finally took a couple of Tums. Then Got freaked out over a thread I read about pancreatic cancer increase from gastrectomy. Anybody read that or research it al all?

  7. AndAmytug, I love your avatar!
  8. You need to read the whole chapter or verses "around" the verse in question and not take it alone to mean something it wasn't intended to mean. The word "exercise" actually was the Greek word for Training not lifting weights.
  9. Can somebody tell me why I can open the 5:2 group and read on my iPhone but not have "permission" on my iPads?
  10. I actually did start that program once but at almost 60 my knees would hold up. Arthur. So I went back to brisk pace walking and my gazelle low impact exercise machine. I have never been and will never be um, shall we say, aerobic minded. Lol. In fact one of my favorite verses I. The Bibles is "Bodily exercise profited little!" Hee hee. ( I know it's out of context but its my LIFE VERSE!).
  11. Bahahaha!! Honesty is the best policy.
  12. So happy for the progress,Coops. I think you are a testimony to perseverance! Good job!
  13. Way to go. m2G! I had a great day. Walked after work and tried to eat chicken stirfry for supper. Didn't get much down for some reason. Weighed this morning and DOWN A POUND! I'm so happy for a loss. 19 lbs now since starting 5:2 in June. Only a few more to get to original goal and HOLD UM, hold um, hold I'm. As rawhide would say!!!!
  14. I talked a couple people out of bands in the last months!
  15. Well, I tried to have chicken stirfry for dinner and only managed as all portion of it. Only 243 calls today so far and it's 7pm. Anybody experiencing MUCH MORE restriction doing 5:2? I think I had made myself believe it was holding more when in reality it was sliding more stuff through that I ate! . I cannot get much at all dense protein down STILL, And I eat wayyy too fast.
