  1. Only got in 1.5 yesterday. Very lazy and sleepy Sunday. 85.75 total. I promise I will do better today! ????
  2. A little different since I don't drink coffee nor Protein shakes. I try to refrain from eating before 8pm on All evenings and the day of a fast I usually have SF oatmeal (around 100 calories) or bran flakes w/ very little skim/soy milk (120-1:0 calories) around 10:30- 11 am. If I'm really hungry I might have a snack of mini babybel a couple hours later (50) or SF Jello (10 cals) and them dinner. Usually chicken stirfry (around 150 cals) or bowl homemade veggie Soup (150) or 2 extra lean turkey franks/100 cal pack guacamole and sliced cakes/red bell pepper (210 calories this is my "go to meal" on a lot of days. Then I isially have a no sugar added fudge bar (40 cals) winding up around right at or below 500. Veggies are your best friend. Low cal/carb and lots of th plus chicken or lean turkey tuna or franks. On feast day, I hold my cals to less than 1200 (usually 1100) and eat cleanly. Mostly. Same Breakfast, go to meal for lunch, chicken or lean beef meal with veggies or Soups for dinner. Some Snacks of mini babybel cheese, fudge bars, fresh fruit like grapes, blueberries, Kroger carbmaster yogurt.

  5. I'm liking all the posts I've read. OD, glad you had a good visit and glad you have BF!!!!! LOL Coops, I know what you mean. The mindset that comes from knowing we are in control is very empowering. And like you, when you realize that person you catch a glimpse of now and DONT RUN IN FRIGHT is pretty amazing, too! Glad everyone is doing well. It's been just beautiful here weather wise this weekend. I love Fall!!
  6. Just logged 5.05. To date 84.25 miles. 15.75 to the finish!!! I've got this!! I seriously cannot believe it. LOL

  8. Great advice from great folks. Again, as Bean said, what works for one won't work for another. What does work for ALL is being present in the moment. Remember you said you realized at the Dr office you had put on more weight? That's where we will go wrong. I did. 25 lbs regain in before I took it back. I do have the occasional cake and treat. In fact I had 5 pigs in a blanket for breakfast. Five. Not 15! . But I have it logged in MFP. And yes, fore over 1100-1200 calories a day I WILL gain. I also have incorporated 5:2 as my lifestyle. I am now maintaining and intend to gradually lose another 5 or so to have a lower bounce. I've stepped up my amount of walking to allow those treats too! All said to say, no need to feel like a failure or believe that you cannot control the end result. You can.
  9. Um, that was meant for another! Ha!
