I was one lb and one week from my mini goal to myself and I go and eat a whole can of pringles throught the day. Now I am 3 lbs from my goal and 6 days. I am so frustrated with myself. Oh well you live and you learn. I just cannot buy them at all. They cannot be around. Lesson learned.

I swear I did the same thing as well. I had a can of pringles! Ate the whole can throughout the day.

I agree with the others. You might just have slight Water gain and not a true weight gain. Drink some more water today.

I have kept mine a secret because I just don't want the judgement. I talked about it all the time but once I got it I have never mentioned it.

I had a fill that made me too tight and I had to have it taken out 5 days later. My problem is it pushes stuff/slime up into my throat and irritates my esphagus to where I can't eat. Weird! My PA said to take the next fill slower meaning that they not add so much. Just do .3 cc or .5 at a time and not the 1 cc that they did. I hope you feel better soon.

Guilty! I weight nightly and every morning. I can't help it.

anything that is white pasta. I use to cook alot of pasta dishes. I even cooked one last night for the family and did not eat one sigle bite. I also miss sushi rolls. I have discovered that mashed potatos and cheesecake go down quite nicely

I say go with the band. It is much more less envassive to your body plus you can take it out if needed. Gastric Bypass is scary to me. I wouldn't want to re-arrange my innerds Good luck with your decision.

I get that hypovolemic shock thingy sometimes when I start to panic during a medical procedure. I have to pick a focus point and almost do lamaze breathing to not pass out. I have passed out before. So I am doing my breathing and the dr always want to talk to me which in turn makes me lose my concentration. So now I just nob and continue my breathing. I started to do it the other day on my fill and the PA caught on real quick to what was happening.

I am going in tomorrow to see what they say. I am going to push for them to take some out. Maybe just a tad and go from there.

I have to say that I have been very uncomfortable with my first fill. I have a lump in my throat that wont go away. It feels like a snot ball. So I called the office and they said liquids for two days and see how I feel on friday. I might need to go in on Friday and have some taken out. So frustrated. They just make it seem like everything is so easy breezy and all I read about it problems people have.

OMG There is a stitch popping out of one of my incisions. Should I clip it? The incision is itching and that is how I noticed the stitch popping out.

Okay good. So if I clip it nothing will fall out of place in my tummy. Lol....

i had my first fill on monday and ever since then i have a ball of mucus in my throat. i actually was able to cough if up last night but it came right back. is the fill causing this? maybe pushing it up in my throat? Dr office said to call back friday and see about coming in for an adjustment. So frustrating. Any ideas how to control the slime or not have it come up?

Yes I drank some water and it was fine felt normal. It wasnt until later that evening that it started bothering me.

I did not start to feel better until the 10th day. I was hungry by the end of the first week. I think what you are feeling is normal.

My band had 3.4 cc in it when they did the surgery and then my first fill the put 1 cc more so a total of 4.4 cc. I was fine with the 3.4 cc but now with the 4.4 cc I don't like it. My throat feels like it has a lump in it. Very uncomfortable.

I think it will be tea and broth tomorrow

I got my first fill yesterday. I feel fine and I feel hungry but I feel like something is sitting in my throat. Like I can't swallow. Is this normal? Will this feeling pass?
