  1. it really wasn't a lot...i am thinking either I ate too fast, or didnt chew enough, or it was just the combo.
  2. I had my first barf episode today after lunch. I had a gortons grilled filet which is about 2 ozs and i had about 3 teaspons of applesauce. My chest started hurting and my mouth started watering i ran to the bathroom...and within minuted i barfed...but it was only the applesauce. Never been so happy to throw up....at least now i know my sleeve works and I haven't been eating too much
  3. I said today I was gonna make a conscious effort to lower my carbs I am gonna up my water to 80 or more also...omg I live in the bathroom now
  4. One piece of advice that I got from a friend who is also a fellow sleever was lose as much weight pre-op as possible. Of course I had cheat days and I fell off the wagon weeks at a time, but overall I did well losing 44 lbs and I am ecstatic I did. It helped me jump start my loss, and considering this stall, I am happy because at least I have noticeable, weight loss.
  5. i had a 6 month "diet" prior to surgery...and i lost most of my weight prior to surgery....its been a lil over 6 weeks, and i have lost about 18 lbs post op, and 44 lbs pre op
  6. I am definitely getting my water in.... i know i shouldn't weigh daily...it hard...i work in a hospital, so there is a scale in my office, my bathroom, everywhere...i dont have one at home because of that. But i am trying to keep a positive attitude. I feel better today! Thanks
  7. great way to look at it! Thanks again
  8. thanks for the suggestions guys!
  9. Thanks Meg! it is frustrating...but we will remain focused....and you're right. I hoped the lbs would be falling off this early...didnt anticipate it being so tough this early on.
  10. :(Thanks Swizzly...I hate sounding like a whiner So far I am averaging about 800 cals a day...i have been managing 3 meals and sometimes 1-2 Snacks I am hoping a year from now I will look back and laugh but for now it sucks
  11. i was between 600-800...last week i was told to up it to 1000, which is honestly hard to do, in between drinking Water etc the highest I have been able to do is 900 and something. and still no movement. Just trying to figure out how to up my calories and still eat healthy food, and stay low carb...honestly this is annoying
  12. I am using fat secret on my blackberry and definitely track everything that goes into my mouth. I know stalls are part of the process...but I am getting frustrated, and quite honestly depressed. Everyone keeps asking how much weight I have lost, and it's hard to say nothing. I just want to capitalize on the "honeymoon period" and it seems like time is slipping away and this is only going to get harder and harder. My mood has noticeably changed...i am at work almost to tears....
  13. I am trying to break this stall...so I am trying to up my calories and eat more than 3 meals...i am kinda getting sick of cheese what high Protein alternatives do you have for Snacks in between your meals Thanks
  14. Congrats and good luck on your upcoming wedding
  15. I have learned that people just dont know what to say when weight is concerned. the funny thing is i think ppl are speculating but they dont know how to ask...and ppl that ask if I on a diet I just answer yes. I have a male friend who likes plus sized women, and he was like "STOP you are losing too much weight now" I am 280 lbs stop it dude ppl have their own opinions and comfort levels with you and how u SHOULD look...esp if u have always been heavy, the heavy friend/family member etc. My mom was anti surgery, now she is more supportive, but her latest comments, have been that I can't possibly be healthy consuming so little, and that my muscles are going to atrophe, and organs fail and all this... my answer was just pray they dont ughhh
  16. YES!!! It's like God forbid Sam should be smaller than me ever
  17. great idea! i bought cheddar flavor soy crisps last week they were good and satisfied that snacky salty craving
