GNC Wheybolic Isolate Extreme 60 On Sale today only
I have only tried the choclate and I love it, it's the best I have ever tasted. I have actually been doing about 2 1/2 scoops 3 just seems too much with the amount of liquid. But yes you could make one and sip it all day and you know you got you requirements in. I want to try the other flavors since the choclate is so good.

The story of an impatient chick in Kansas City
Yeah, another person on April 11th that must be sleeve day here in the Greater KC area! I can't wait for mine an also so we can all compare our experiences with the different offices. I am paying more for my Self Pay at Mally but I have had nothing but awesome experiences with everyone there so far an immediate call backs. But it is amazing the cost difference with the 3 WLS clinics. Weight-loss Surgical Center quoted $17,900 Malley $16,500 and Dr. Hoen looks like right at $12,000 and all of these offices are relatively close. So check around no matter where you live.

I am trying to start working in just being on shakes so one for Breakfast and one for lunch a serving of fruit and then stopped for some Chinese on the way one. Baby steps right? Anyway, cracked one my Fortune Cookie and what does it say?.... The coming month shall bring winds of change in your life! Could it not have been more right, I mean what are the chances that a fortune cookie could be so right on! Maybe it's also telling me no more fortune Cookies if I want the change to happen...LOL

2 yr history not 40 BMI??
Hi, I am almost exactly in your shoes. This is what I found out. I have acid reflux, fibo, massive pain constantly, endometriosis, but none of the condition that qualify me to be under a 40BMI. So I thought, no big deal I can gain a few pounds and get to a 40 and then insurance would pay. Then I got the big news that I would be on a 6 month medically supervised diet. There would be no way I would qualify after that so I am now a Self-Pay patient. Although the money will be out of pocket, I don't have all the Dietician appointments, pscy appointments and I get it NEXT MONTH! I don't have to wait the 6+months even if I did quality with insurance. So I am kind of glad it worked out this way since I get it sooner but it will be well worth every penny!

The story of an impatient chick in Kansas City
You still may want to check your options of offices even with insurance. You may find the different offices bill things differently and may have much less out of pocket from one as compared to another. It wouldn't hurt to check around by any means. New Hope has always been really quick to get back with me and get the answers for me I needed when I was initially trying to pursue insurance. Good luck with your journey and keep us posted on how this is all going for you.

Odd Question
Thank you all for the information...lI was hoping...Oh well, I guess I can't hope for everything.

The story of an impatient chick in Kansas City
If all goes south with them you really sould check into New Hope/Malley Surgical. If you have to end up paying for it, it's $16,500 and includes everything even office visits for the first year. It sounds like you would fair better with that option then even with insurance paying if you do find they have a cap at $10,000. Keep us posted how it goes. Don't let my hubby hear this, but glad I didn't have to go through insurance since I would have to wait out the 6 month Dr. Diet. Pay out of pocket and I get it NOW! LoL, I can't wait.

Sleeved yesterday 3/9 LURKER
He will be doing mine April 13. There are quite a bit of sleevers on here from KC. We have been talking about having some get togethers/support group. I would love to meet up with everyone after I have my surgey. It would be great to have a local Sleevers support group. UUggghhh 15 minutes until it will be exactly 1 month away for my surgery, Not that Iam counting or anything!

Odd Question
OK, strange question but have you lost about 100 lbs and your skin has shrunk down has anyone that previously had spider veins in their legs noticed any kind of difference after their weight loss? Was there a change for the better or worse or none at all?

Awkward moment
I understand how you feel. When I had to let people know I would be off two weeks from work some people asked why. To a few of the people I explained the surgery I was having. Both of the women are overweight and I thought they would understand especially since I have health issues and a lot of pain with Fibro among other ailments that I am hoping will be lessened if not gone by having the surgery, not to mention the energy I will gain. From their attitude I don't know if they were jealous or felt like wow is she that lazy that she just doesn't work out to lose the weight, I don't know. The comments were not as supportive as I had hoped they would be. Now when people ask, I try my best to not mention why I will be out or try to be as vague as possible but boy are people pushy. People just don't understand and think it is just a vanity issue or cosmetic reasons and it truly is not, I want my life back and people just do not understand. Thank God I have a supportive Husband.

I am an April 11th Sleever as well and I so cannot wait. Just talked to the Nurse today and she mailed out the pre-op diet info and is calling me tomorrow to schedule my final appointment I believe before my surgery. I feel like a giddy little schoolgirl and Icannot stop watching these dang forums, they are addictive.

Any Post WLS People here with FM?
I wanted to see if any of the people that have fibromyalgia has noticed change in their amount of pain since being sleeved since the since last has been a few months out. I suffer from it as well as back knots and back pain from severe whiplash from a car accident. I am very interested in knowing if the surgery has helped. I am actually there has not been more conversation on this topic since it seems so many people are diagnosed with it more now a days.
