There is no single way to lose weight. The reason people are successful at it is because they dig, and search, and discover a way that works for them; through paitence and trial and error.

Yesterday was my 6 month surgerversary! 80 lbs gone forever!

50 pounds gone as of today! 1/2 way to goal! People are just now asking me if I've been losing "a little" weight LOL!

day 6 post op my status has finally been upgraded from "feel kinda dead" to "feel like a truck ran over me". believe it or not...it's a good feeling!

Just got word from the Surgeon office that insurance is requesting a 2 year weight history from Dr office. Hopefully Dr office is quick in getting that info together!

Still no word. Turns out my Dr office didn't even submit my packet to insurance until a month after my last visit. I just verified yesterday that Aetna is finally reviewing my file now.

I've been buying a lot of shoes lately. I'm done buying clothes until after the surgery so I guess I have to buy something

caught between wanting to lose some pre op weight and wanting to eat everything in sight "one last time"
