Hi Kori,

Saw you were stationed in England so are we. I was banded on May 19th by Dr. Patel. Would be nice to know someone in the same region to share info with.

All went well. I was so nervous for nothing. I got into the surgical suite, got my IV and the next thing I know I woke up in recovery. I was in pain initially. They gave me 4mg of Morphine and then sent me back up to my room. Since then I've had Tylenol only. The only complaint I have is I'm an American in the UK and they don't do things the same here. Instead of giving me liquid Tylenol - they gave me these tablets like Alka-selzer that dissolve in water and the nurse gave me ton...

How did your surgery go? What are you drinking?

I noticed we have about the same to loose. I was banded today and could use a Buddy. I have 4 weeks of liquids to get through and could use the recipes you have. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting nervous! I will be admitted to the hospital tomorrow for pre-op testing and will have my surgery on the 19th.

I am soooo nervous. Knowing that I made the best decision for my health keeps me going. The hardest part for me is that I'm not telling anyone besides my husband. I discussed it with my sister when I was just thinking about it and she wasn't supportive so I decide to not share with too many people. I'll add you on FB. We'll have to encourage each other and set mini goals together.

I too am being banded on the 19th.
