Hey Yoda do the folks at work know now? And to answer the cranky question..not so much just kinda sad and anxious and I don't know why...but a good nights sleep would help my mood...when I'm stressed sleep is always hard to get.:notagree

What sleep? hehe,It's a good thing I bought Rod Stewart tickets :confused: at the Air Canada Centre for the night before my surgery,that will #1 get me to Toronto and #2 make me tired enough to at least sleep the night before the operation.Should be fun,When's your date?

Hi Sherrylynn , I understand your emotions fully and I think from what I read everyone here has went through it.I'm so glad for you that you have moved up their list and don't worry about me getting the bad vibe I likely just hit a receptionist having a bad day(we all have them).Keep in touch and let us know how your doing.

Hi there Sherrylynn, I also was concidering that Dr. in NB and tried to talk with his receptionist twice,but I really did'nt get good vibes (may have been just me)so I gave Dr.Cobourn's office an e-mail,the next thing I knew Dr. Cobourn phoned me and I had a much better comfort level with him.I did'nt ask if he's lost a patient or not maybe someone else knows.NB would have been more convienient for me but I feel like I made the right decision for now. Hey guys,just wondering is the full feeling like the full feeling that would happen after you had a large dinner? Do you wish you could keep eating? Are you satisfyed (referring to food only!)Do you snack durring the day?This is a big one for me I don't know if it's concidered emotional eating or what but I graze durring the day...I'm hoping my urge to do this settles back.Thanks in advance,and to show my gratitude you can all come over for a delious feast of Optifast!:rolleyes

Gaffer,I did'nt buy them yet,I'm headin into town on the weekend and will pick them up then,I was with friends and have'nt told them about the band and I know they'd have questions about 10dollar drink boxes.:paranoid

Hey guys I just seen today at Walmart, Boost protein drink/boxes , different fruit flavors....6 for $10.50. Has any one tried them?I'm guessing they'd get you through the clear liquid 48 hours.:rose:

Yea Gaffer,your doing awesome and your attitude sounds really positive...excellent.I'm going to Toronto 2 days before the surgery,and I'm hoping they'll blend my optifast at the hotel restaurant, I do not want to lug my big blender up there. After the surgery I think I'll live on popsicles and water until I come home.

Mookie you totally crack me up:D ,And Becca no my Dr. did'nt charge me anything for filling out those forms,he seems really happy for me, he has been working with my weight issues for years,and been totally supportive all the way.

Hey there guys...the optifast may be a lttle disgusting but I have never lost 10lbs in a week before...so I'm having a love/hate relationship with the stuff.I know alot of that must be water weight but who cares,I feel skinny today,hehe,I wonder if anyone else would see 230lbs as skinny!!

Mandi,I'm really happy you said that,b/c that's exactly what Dr. C told me and I felt it was likely true but It kept coming up here and people seemed convinced of the Mexican training...so It left me wondering and with that little hint of doubt that you don't need presurgery.(not doubting the Mexican service just why Dr.C would say otherwise.)

100lbs in under a year seems excellent to me!:clap2:

If you like it then that's cool,the one thing I know for sure about you is that you seem genuine and just to be an awesome person and at the end of the day...that's what really counts.So be who you are and don't fret about the other stuff like what people are thinking (i did'nt figure this out until I hit the big 40 ).

Gosh Becca I feel rotten for you:cry I can't imagine how disipointed you must feel, was this your regular GP,does he understand the surgery? My blood pressure is one of the reasons I want this done and believe me it's higher then yours without drugs,your right that's just border line.I really hope Dr. Cobourn comes through for you.I'll be sending good thoughts your way for you tomorrow.Good luck

Hey guys, who decides on how much should be put in or taken out of the band,the Dr. or you? For those of you living out of town does that have any influence on your decision of how much? Assuming you don't wait to travel for hours every month.... do you ask for more then someone that can go back and forth with very little effort?

Good analysis Gaffer and I definately get what your saying, I guess from the get go I talked to Dr.Cobourn and felt a comfort level with him, but the follow up care does concern me a little,just the distance and all but I'm sure it'll work out fine.1 more week until surgery....:biggrin1: I can't wait!

Hey there Gaffer,I was wondering why you were 2nd guessing you decision to go to Cobourn's clinic is price the reason,or is there something else, the reason I ask is I had e-mailed a question there a week ago and no ones got back to me,I also left a phone msg.I wonder if they are really busy or maybe moving now to the new location.:guess
