Ok everyone, I have a question. I have some Phentermine left over from before I had my Lapband surgery, and for those of you who have taken it before, it gives you A TON of energy, and we are moving this weekend...Haha, So I was maybe wanting to take one for some extra energy, and I wasn't sure if it would be safe. I've tried to call my Dr. office but the answering machine is saying the office is closed. What do ya"ll think? I appreciate your feedback

I eat alot of salmon fillets and tilapia for dinner, but I just like the fish sticks for lunch because their easy, and they DO NOT taste like junk food, nor are they, Their calories are very low, and high Protein, and I always stay inside my calorie range. Its not that I like them because their like junk food, I stay away from junk

So I bought some Fish sticks from costco that are by the brand Trident. I have already tried one bag before hand, and they are great, and only lightly breaded... I have lost almost 50 lbs. So Im figuring they should be ok to eat for lunch, I usually only have 3 or 4, and their very small. What do you guys think? Its a super easy way for me to get the Protein from the fish... Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried them Thanks bunches! Kayla

Thank you so much for all the great ideas! Ive been plateaued for about 2 weeks now, but i did up my Protein and am starting to drink more Water now, and the scale nudged a bit And I just signed up for a gym membership! I have cut back on other things to afford it, and so we will see how it goes. I got a membership to Anytime Fitness. I am so so excited to get this thing going and becoming active! Thanks for the feedback and support Much love. Kayla

I am starting to struggle big time. I got my Lapband on March 31st, 2011. Im doing great with my diet. Proteins, Water. Ive lost 39 lbs. so far, but now, Im at a plateau. I need to start exercising and working out, but I cant seem to find the motivation. Im just wondering if anyone else has had the problem with getting started being active. Did anything help? Ive taken Zumba before, and loved it, but I dont have a gym pass anymore, and its over 100 F degrees outside, so I melt haha. Not sure what to do. Much appreciated. Thanks Kayla

Hey! I am around a thousand calories a day, give or take a few depending on the day. But I just had my second fill today, and Im at 3.5 cc's. Im pretty good when I eat, as long as I get my Protein in! If I eat chicken, fish, eggs etc. then Im usually pretty full afterwards and it lasts for a couple hours. You should start to feel satisfied soon I would think Good luck with everything! Kayla

Im totally in the same boat! I got banded 03/31/11 and I am starving! I am able to eat anything I want, there is a little discomfort if I eat too big of a portion, but not enough to make me not want to eat it lol. I want a fill so bad. Im trying so hard to eat small portions and stay on my pureed and just little pieces of fish and things like that. But its so hard. Im SO hungry! But Im trying to keep losing or at least maintain my 17 lbs loss, I dont want to gain it back, Good luck to you lady! I wish you the best, hang in there! Much love.

Ok, I called and left a message for the nurse, she should be calling back soon. I feel like I have a fever, but I cant tell because my hands are ice cold. I dont think I have anything in my band yet, Im pretty sure its empty. (At least I think so.) All I want to do is sleep but can't fall asleep. I know the flu is going around here, so hopefully I dont have that!

Hey everyone, I need some advice. I am 5 days post op today, and just started my full liquid diet, I had some Soup for lunch, and it made me incredibly sick. I have been in the bathroom all morning (Gross, I know), and I am shivering cold, but have 3 blankets on me? And my body aches, and everytime I swallow, I feel like I have a lump in my throat (which I dont, it just feels like it) and there is gurgling coming up my throat. Im very un easy. Not sure what to do? Is this normal? I dont feel well at all. I would appreciate some help

The gas was so bad for me also! I was banded on March31st, but I never got any Gas strips (not sure why) but boy, do I wish I would have! Today is my last day on the clear liquid diet, and Im hating it. I am SO weak. Im dizzy, I have no energy. Ive been trying to drink more gatorade and stuff with some electrolytes but its still not helping. Tonight I may have some Soup, hopefully that will help me. But I havent had many problems with hunger. My tummy makes weird noises but I dont feel any hunger pains, so I think thats a good sign? Haha. Im down 14 lbs so far! Yay! I hope you all have success. God bless you all

Hey everyone! So I got banded yesterday morning, and Its been the best thing for me, definitely, but I have a few pains that I want to know if their normal lol. First off, I have alot of chest pain, which Ive heard is from the gas they put in you and the swelling, but mostly Im having a really painful dull throbbing right in the middle, underneath my rib cage. I get up and walk around at least once an hour, and it seems to help for a moment, but then comes back when I sit in my recliner. It almost feels like a sharp, hard hunger pain, but Im not hungry at all. Is this normal? Just wanted to make sure. It comes and goes alot also. Hope to hear back from you guys -Kayla

Hey everyone, I am needing help/suggestions. I am so stressed with my current situation with family and moving, I have found myself going back to the only thing I know how to deal....food. I need to get back on track, but have little motivation. I had my surgery March 31st, 2011 and have lost 60 lbs. So its been slow, and I have about 60 more lbs to go to goal. Does anyone have any tips on how to get back on track and feel excited again? I'm desperate for help. Thanks tons.
