3 1/2 months out - HELLO ONEDERLAND! Now the loss is slowing down; have to work harder!!!

I was thinking about a little post op gift to myself (I am not post op yet LOL). Anyway, I was thinking about buying a super cute, girlie, special small plate just for me. Did you get yourself a post op gift?

Cheated in a big way and feeling beyond guilty... I would call this "Eater's Remorse" ugh

About to make some naughty bits for Father's Day. Too bad I won't be enjoying any of them!!

3 week sleeve-versary Down almost 30 lbs. Feeling much better. Gulping water - oh yeah!

Got my date: June 6th!! Starting my 2 week pre op diet; FUN! Yay!!

Ate like a wild pig this weekend. Getting back on track today though!! -2 lbs / week #219

Time to go back on low carb! If you think you don't have to diet with VSG, think again!!

Seminar on Saturday... the first step (all over again). Very interested if the sleeve will be a better choice than the Band... not sure which to go with yet..

I thought waiting for approval was nerve wrecking.. knowing it will actually happen is even crazier! LOL

One month post op - for some reason I can't eat today. My stomach is turning. I feel pukey. Just tried mashed potatoes (had them for 2 weeks now) and they almost want to come back up! UGH

Having "buyers remorse" of sorts. I am so freaking hungry. And not losing... :*(

Hello!! Have you been banded already? If so, who did you go through?

Starting my day with a wicked migraine. Anyone have migraines so bad they use prescriptions? Did they get better or worse post op?

:Worried: I have been researching complications and WOW ... ok now I am officially scared. I mean, I knew there would be risk but *gulp* the more I learn, the more I psych myself out of it. Anyone else done this?!?!

Hard lesson learned - you can totally graze with the sleeve. Watch your portions and eating habits because they will catch up with you on the scale.

*7* days till surgery... yeah a little freaked out, but excited to start my journey!

Just curious if I can "finance" the out of pocket & deductable expenses?!? I have Anthem BCBS but will be out of pocket 3-4k. Hmmm

Waiting to see if Anthem will approve me.. but worried about if they do - will I ever be able to get insurance again if I change jobs?

Mayo Clinic says "Dumping Syndrome is not just for Bypass" and adds VSG to the list of causes.

6+ months out: Eating like a mad cow. I can literally eat a half box of crackers with laughing cow cheese. Mindless eating will crush any hopes of weight loss, for sure. Your Sleeve won't stop you from eating 6 months out if your head is still messing you up. UGH What is going on in my crazy head?!? I need to work these food issues out ASAP. If you are just starting your journey, please work on your food issues early on. They do haunt you later if you don't resolve them.

Seminar done. Waiting on intake appointment and insurance approval. Wait.. wait ... wait..

It's official - I am sleeved!! After 5 days in the hospital, I am happy to be home!!

Wow 6 months out.. just one stall after another but I am not giving up. I Have thyroid disease, so I will attribute the low loss to that. I am still happy with my loss though. -70 lbs.. yeah that is nothing to be sad over hahaah!
