Just got banded Tuesday, February 8th..... I never realized how much food has consumed my life (just like I was consuming food) LOL...The 1st few days were so hard. Not so much painful...although I had some pain...It was hard for me because I really miss food. Every friendship, family relationship I have is centered around food. I love to cook. I love to hang out with my girlfriends (happy hour), I love my dinner dates with my boyfriend. My trips with my kids always include food... Food has been very much part of my life....now I have to learn how to do all these things without sabatoging my surgery. God give me strength. I'm down 11 lbs in 5 days. Glad about that....hope I can continue to progress. I'm giving this my all. But Lord knows I can't wait to chew again. LOL....What does your doctor mean when he says your body hasn't accepted the band as most ppl???? I'm just asking because I even feel jell-o going down. Just want to know what to look for.
