  1. How much do you pay in Mexico?
  2. My dr works Tuesdays in Irvine. Not exactly San Diego, but it's not that far depending where in San Diego you live. I pay $150 for a visit with a fill. www.oliakcenter.com
  3. you can log on to www.myfitnesspal.com add me, my name is holbraden
  4. tmf..........your name fits you!!!
  5. wow, you look great! Keep up the good work!
  6. Short and chunky, I am right there with you! I don't go long before feeling hungry and have realized that I really HATE feeling hungry so it is a constant battle in my head. I reached the greenzone back in June about 3 weeks after my fill. It was nice not feeling hungry but then I was having a hard time getting protein down and all my water. So I had .2 of the .25 fill removed and food going down much better. Still wish hunger was controlled but what can I do?!!
  7. I was self pay also. The only thing not included in the dr's charge was my blood work which my ins did cover.
  8. Toddy couldn't have said it any better! I know that I will be able to maintain this weight loss with the band, and with the band only! Lord forbid anything should ever happen to it! Did I say I love my band?!!
  9. I use flat bread to make pizza and also will toast it, spread one laughing cow cheese on it and top with a little scrambled egg. YUM!
  10. I added you. My name is holbraden
  11. When I was first banded in Feb 2011, my dr's office said 3 meals a day and no snacking. Now they are saying that 4 meals is fine. I guess it is what works for you. Usually it is 4 meals that work for me!
  12. I wouldn't worry about it if you are below 1000 calories a day. My dr told us to stay between 800-1000 a day.
  13. It has taken me 16 months for me to get to the point where the band has limited the amount I can eat. I would not have been as successful as I have been had I not weighed and measured everything out. I wish I could say I would have gotten there quicker but it is what it is! I have gotten so used to doing it, I don't think twice any more.
  14. ah, sorry you are having such a hard time. Call me sometime so we can get together!
  15. I would def get in sooner than July 11th! My first few fills were only 2 weeks apart. How many calories are you eating a day?
  16. 80% perfect.............. still love my sweets! I have to say though, I am good with my meals it's just the extras that sometimes I choose not to do without!
  17. 29 pounds is way more than I was down in 6 weeks! I was only down 13 the first month. You are doing amazing. When people ask you, just say....."Sure am!" and leave it at that!
  18. I go through periods where I make pizza all the time. I have been having it on flat bread too. I made my own pizza using premade dough from Fresh &Easy and measured out my 2 ounce portion. I use regular jarred pizza sauce since it' only 30 calories for /4 cup. Way less calories though from my flat bread since it was only 70 calories for half a piece, a whole piece is about 8x10 inches.
  19. sometimes eggs go down a little slow. But the last 2 days I have mixed 2 eggs with 1 T light mayo for egg salad and it goes down really easy. Just a suggestion!
  20. woot, woot!!! Congrats!
  21. nope, but short of breath is usually not good. Best to call your dr.
  22. My dr recommended waiting 3 months, I waited 2 months. I do prefer spring mix salads now with softer greens.
  23. I can pretty much eat anything except for snow peas and if I have a few too many raw baby carrots. I do avoid any steak excpet for filet mignon. Other than that, I have been pretty lucky unless I stuff my pouch and then that's my own darn fault!
  24. I just started feeling restriction from this last fill, over 2 weeks afterwards. After 16 months I can say I am finally in the greenzone! Wahoo!!
