Just recently had a baby, but he is now 18 pounds, (8 pounds over the 10 pound weight restriction). I also have a 2 year old toddler that I will have to keep from picking up as well.

I am scheduled to have the band March 16, any suggestions from people who've BEEN THERE, done that?

Also, is 2 weeks enough time for healing and not picking up baby or 30 pound toddler? Is there possibility of the band to slip?
