when i had my surgery on sept 22, 2010, i was sleeved, they would not let me take any ambien and as for pain meds they gave me liquid vicodan and i was allowed to take my thyroid pill. that is all i know, i hope this helped you.

i was told that the caffeene in coffee is a diretic and that is not good after getting sleeved and also the coffee binds with one of the vitamins i think its iron and that if you take them together the iron is like you don't take it at all
