2. Are you sure that it wasn't MY mother who visited your house??? That is exactly what she would do to me, that is why she doesn't know. Pick yourself up by the bootstraps girl and just get back on the "band"wagon. Best of luck tomarrow and all the days of your new life.
3. Welcome to MARCHing Band group. I too am scheduled for the 31st!!!! Excited, nervous and have told very few people also. Even my mother does not know because I know she would be very negative toward the situation. Best of luck and now I of 7 of us that are scheduled the same day throughout the country!! 6. I keep trying different things with the protein powder so that I have alot of choices starting next week. I put Creamy Vanilla in my decaf coffee, half a scoop and it made it so rich and creamy and delcious. Hope everyone had a great weekend and best of luck to everyone getting their band this week and starting their new life!!!
7. OK gang-just mixed my Vanilla protein powder into my decaf coffee-made it nice rich and creamy!!! YUM!!

12. I am scheduled for surgery later this month and am already starting to wonder if I will be able to continue with my usual routine of visiting "Curves" 2-3 times per week??? Doing well on the inches, scale not budging much for right now, but know it will. Just want to continue with the good work that I am doing for myself. This is the year that I start and continue to care for me. Anyone else outthere who goes to Curves??
13. As silly as it sounds I made "jelloJigglers" with the SF Jello. The whole pan is gone between the 4 of us here in the house tonight. It was kind of fun and nice to have your family enjoying your snack as well.
14. I am March 31st also!!! I could have gone sooner but wanted to be able to work around my DH and Kids schedules. I agree with you doesn't matter headed in the right direction for our new lives. I am on the east coast and scheduled for 8am so will hopefully be on my way out of the OR when you are on your way in. Best of luck to you!!'
15. If people only could understand that this is the most difficult decision and it will effect each and every one of us every day for the rest of our lives. It certainly is not going to be the "easy" way out. Best of luck!!
16. Glad to hear that things are going better today for you Shirley!! We are all here to support each other in each stage of the game.
17.

<br /Welcome to the group. Tha negattive message that I think most of us has read doesn't seem to represent most of the people here. Did you know that there is a "group" for each month of banding on this site?? You can hopefully even find someone in your area or who was banded on the same day for support. If you scroll down the main forum page you can find each month, even age groups. If you go under members you can put in your zip code and find people in your area that are also on the site for additional support. Wishing you the best. Starting my new life March 31st and trying to stay as positive as possible.
18.

Welcome to the group. I am scheduled for surgery on March 31st. I too am abit nervous but excited at the same time. We have a support group at my doctors office, so be sure to check and see if your office does something like that also. Until yesterday I had only found positive on the site. I think that person has had a horrible experience but does not represent the vast majority of people here. I am staying positive and will do the best that I can. Wishing the same for you as you start your new life.
19. I am sure that I will feel the same way in a few weeks. I am scheduled for March 31st. My son's birthday is the day I start my liquid diet. Try and be strong and remember we are all here for support.
20. I am scheduled for March 31st . I have been trying to have one shake a day to get accustomed to a different way of eating. They are not all that bad. Have you tried any of the fruit blast ones? I like the tropical mango, something different than the usual chocolate or vanilla. I have also added different flavorings to the vanilla-like cherry or lime. Great for something different to drink. Also put some unflavored gelatin in and put in fridge-more like a mousse and I felt like I was eating something rather than drinking. My doctor said all of the substitions, changes are fine-Best of luck to all of the MARCHing Bandsters.
21. Best of luck-we are all in this together and I have found this site to be wonderfully supportive. I too am 45 and took 5 years to decide to do this. I am ready for my new life and a healthier me. Welcome to the group!!
22. I have to say this is a great place to be. When I feel I need a lift-I come here and find support and usually a smile or a laugh. Thanks to all of you for being here. Just can't wait till I get to go shopping for a new bathing suit this summer!!! I have been having one protien shake a day getting myself mentally prepared. going well so far, and the DH is drinking it along with me - I just have to love this guy.
23. Wendy, You made me smile while reading your accounting of your day. I was at the support group meeting Tues night and said that we had met on line and that you had your surgery earlier in the day. The support group was really nice and informative. Keep up the good work-looking forward to my day next month.
24. Hi everyone, I am involved in the group under pre-op discussions of March 2011 Bandsters but is anyone else out there scheduled for the 31st?? I am a firm believer in having a good support group-so lets get on the MARCHing BAND together.
25. Hi Elizabeth-I am scheduled for the 31st of March. I had the option of the 8th or the 14th but we couldn't work it out with my DH's schedule. Welcome to the MARCHing BAND!!!
