well guys I have just experienced productive burping for the first time...Yuck....I ate one bite of chicken...it was hot and I diddnt chew it good enough....way to open your eyes...that was not fun at all.......im almost 3 weeks post-op btw

Ive done fine with food until that episode.... I eat the 3 oz of meat and 1/2 cup of green Beans and im full... I have a hard time fitting in all the Protein in that i need.... Im on my fitnesspal says im not meeting my calories each day..My dietitian told me not to worry as much about calorie as protein....

Each doctor is different in what type of diet you are allowed after surgery....I was on clear liquids post op day one and clear/ full liquids from post op day 2-14.... I then went back to my dietician....did ur doctor tell you what your allowed? -

I have no idea but i really dont see how the diuretic would make you band loose. I just dont see how thats physiologically possible unless your retaining Water in your stomach. The diuretic works on your heart and kidneys not your stomach. -

Two weeks post op...today I went to see my dietician..... thought I would be upgraded to puree foods.....I was given the go ahead to start regular proteins....chewed, to applesauce consistancy....my mom took me to red lobster..I had shrimp scampi:) three shrimp = 3 oz....I was full:)......

I have been great...I start mushie stage officially today...im 2 weeks post op......I haven't seemed to have many issues as of yet:)
