hey, i have found a few friends, not many know of my lap-band due to family issues, but the surgery went wonderful..i have lost 112 lbs, went from 317 to 204..i only want to be close to 190 for my goal..

This girl has lost 92lbs..I have 53 more days to lose 8 more lbs to fullfill my 2nd to last goal of losing 100lbs in a year..my final goal would be to be under 200lbs..hope to do that by my birthday in June..I cant believe how much i have changed (for the better) in these last months..Im loving what I see, and how I feel!!

I would love to find others on FB that has had the surgery, my only problem is, only a small handful of people know about my surgery, and I cant risk it getting out to some family members on FB, so i have not spoke openely on FB about it, some day i hope i will be able to do that..its just complicated in why i can not speak about my surgery to some family.. -

Banded march 23rd 2011..Only problem for me started 2 weeks ago when i could not even swallow water..I let this stay in hopes of it just being a stuck issue..but after a week i decided to go in in fear i have slipped the band..come to find out i just had gotten a to big a fill in sept..so doc took small amount out of band and alls well so far..few weeks i will go back in to replace some more fluid in band..i have lost total of 92lbs went from size 26 to a 16-18 pants...I have learned that i worry constantly about damaging my band (im self-pay) that im ovetly causious about anything I eat..i hope that this little problem i had with being over-filled will only happen this one time.. -
Pizza Occassionally, Fill or no Fill???

I can not eat any type of bread at all..I have had 2 fills and am up to 5cc..I believe i am to tight, I do have several sliming episodes if I try to eat certain things..Im self pay, so Im careful with going in for fills and unfills..I would love to be able to eat just a bite or 2 of a piece of pizza..our bodies are all different, but if u had a GOOD fill im sure u would not be able to eat the pizza -
YAY!! im so happy for you, I jusr recently fit comfortable into a size 18 after losing 80lbs..started at a 26..keep it up girl!!

Hit -80 lbs today!! its been a little over 7 months since i had the surgery..I never ever thought i would be this far down in weight lose..cant wait til i hit the big 100..hopefully by my birthday!!

Im having the same thing happening to me now..had my 2nd fill end of aug this year, and I do believe im to tight..i have gone to some sliders just to get something down, i have not gained any weight as of yet, and i have lost 15 lbs since that fill, but now im just at a stand still..i wish i would of went in for a slight unfill, but im self pay and it is 250$ for that..im dealing with it the best i can now by pretty much eating the same foods that WILL go down..fish..oatmeal..string cheese..protein shakes..i have noticed that its finally loosing up for me some days..but i will make sure i do not get overfilled in the future..

Just hit my -75lb mark!! I never would of thought that much weight would be gone with just having the band 7 months..cant wait to see what the next 7 months will bring me..

Going good so far..Down 74lbs with 2 fills..last fill was a GOOD one!!! cant wait til I hit the 100lb's gone mark..

Had mine on march 23rd this year..last friday was my 6month and i hit -70lbs exaclty on that day..i never thought i would lose half that much in just 6 months..another 70 in 6 more months, and im set at my .. -

I had my band placed march 23rd this year..I had 1 fill in july..no problems..then i was ready for another one last weds..and boy is my eating habits totally different..i experienced my first sliming/stuck episode..same as u, it was very painful..so all this week i have been trying to find foods that will go down (i know im a little to tight) so far protein shakes..water..coffee..all soups..refried beans..is all that have worked so far..it does get a little better each day, but now im not overeating..and as far as in public when this happens..i have only had this happen once..i ate lunch with my son for his b-day, and i could not just up and run all the way over to the bathroom, so luckly i had tons of napkins, and just pretended to wipe my mouth and got rid of it that way..may be TMI, but that is how i handled that situation..good news is thou i had lost 8 lbs since last weds.. -

On march 23rd 2011 I weighed 317..wore 44DD..size 26-28 pants..3-4X shirts..size 11 shoes..and was 5'6.... as of today..July 24th 2011 I weigh 259..40DD..size 18-20 pants..x-large..1X shirt..10 1/2 shoes.. Most of my weight was in my belly also (3 kids 1 C-section) It just depends on how your body type is on the size of clothing..i have not been in a 18-20 pants in over 16 years..You should really try to order a few different sizes online and see what size feels right on you, but that does get hard also considering all clothing sizes can be different.. -
Its been a while since i had an update, but here i am 52lbs lighter..and dwon from a 26w to a 20!! yay!!! only had 1 fill, was gonna go in yesterday for 2nd fill, but since i lost 12lbs this month i decided to wait til next month..sure hope all the march bandsters are having as much fun in losing weight as I am

I list 18 lbs on my 10 day liquid diet.. And a total of 47. Lbs since my banding march 23 .. It's different for us all, I started out huge, at 317.. Now down to 271.. I have consistly lost each week until 2 weeks ago.. Kinda at a stand still, so I am walking almost 2 miles on my tread mill and eating between 900-1100 a day seems that should help me a bit.. I only had 1 fill so far which I believe was a big one of 4cc.. I'm due to get another one on July 6 th, bur if I lose 5 more lbs by then, I'm gonna skip that one.. I have to pay 250$ for each fill, so I only get them if I really think I need one -
OMG, im at a standstill with my weight!! Got a fill on June2nd..lost 6 lbs the first 6 days, now stuck at 272lbs..no lose this week at all, and im still eating and drinking what i have been doing since surgery..and walking over a mile a day..Sure wish the scale would start to go down again..

I also passed on my first fill..i was doing fine without it, until last thurs..had to get one finally, and it seems to be working great for me..lost 6 lbs since last week, and feeling great..I am scheduled for another fill on july 5th, so we will see if by then im ready for one:) had my surgery on march 23rd 20011..
Did you look for Dr.'s in Richland?? Dr. Fox in richland is my doc..keep me updated on how things go for you
