unfortunately it is apparently cheaper to do a more invasive procedure. My surgeon wanted an extra 1000 up front over and above what the insurance pays in order to cover fill costs that insurance just won't pay for. So....I have decided to go with the gastric bypass. Disappointed in our healthcare system.

going to my lap band consult this morning. This is the first time in my life I actually want to weigh as much as possible lol. Hoping for quick turnaround from my insurance so I can get started as soon as possible.

Off to wilderness resort and the indoor water park later. If you haven't been I highly recommend it. We went last year and it was like a weekend at the beach, but with a much shorter drive!

Just got a call from lap band surgeon first consult in 1/24 at 9!! Dr Hodge is who I am seeing at surgical group of JC if anybody has any info on them.

I will be working on site for the next two days so of course it is snowing!!!!
