  1. I am a male and had this as I lost around 9 stones and it was definately needed otherwise my new belly button would still have sagged. It is now over 6 months post op and the scars are starting to fade. I guess for a guy the scars, especially the vertical one are not as much of an issue as they can look 'macho'. I do think it's best to lose as much weight as possible before having a Tummy Tuck as it is likely to sag if you lose anymore weight post op.

  2. Hi guys, my name's Vishal and I live in the UK and I guess I should start with why I am here. Basically I lost around 9 stones between 2007 and 2008 and had 2 cosmetic procedures carried out on me this year. First, in June I had a Fleur De Lys Abdomnoplasty procedure and then 3 weeks ago I had Bilateral Gynaecomastia to sort out my chest area. It has been a long journey for me and I feel that now is the time to help other people and give people advice with what is involved in both procedures. I recently created a blog, which I will be updating throughout the course of the next few weeks and months to give as much advice as I can about weight loss, dieting and ofcourse post weight loss surgery.

I have learnt a lot about the problems post weight loss and what issues that may arise when surgery is to be carried out. If anyone has any questions then please ask. I also have my blog to share which is www.vshape.posterous.com and it details a lot of what I have gone through in my past and I hope it gives people in a similar situation the help that they both need and deserve. Thanks.
