  1. I use Muscle Milk light chocolate or vanilla and EvoPro which is from the same manufacture. Now for the Vanilla or even for the unflavoreds there is flavor drops you can buy that change the flavor almost 100% Check out Capella I have used their Orange creamsicle (WOW awesome) and french toast and they are amazing in everything iv added them to.
  2. I use Muscle Milk Light (Chocolate) seems to be one of the best fitting shakes for what we "should" have and also the best tasting i have found. I use Capella Flavorings if i go for the vanilla kind they have awesome flavorings to make them taste better.
  3. Muscle Milk light chocolate has been the best premade shake i have tried. cappellaflavors.com (google it spelling might be different) will change the taste of vanilla shakes tremendously its great stuff. all the crystal light and ocean spray drink packets are great too 5 calories and no sugar.
  4. That feeling is completely normal. However Cymbalta should NOT be opened, it is a time release capsule you will not benefit correctly from the medication. I am on the same med and talked to the pharmacist and read the instrucions pharmacies dont give you. breastbone pain will dissapate after day 3 or 4 but a gas bubble brings it back so dont be alarmed.
  5. Coke (any soda) is a HUGE source of weight gain and retension. Not to mention other bad things it does to your body. The biggest thing about soda is it helps to retain water especially coke. Now I am no doctor just going on what doctors have told me in the past. I started Hot tea day of surgery on my way home from the hospital. i waited 2 days to start regular coffee in moderation and made sure i got enough other liquids so that TMI i know my urine was clear. In the end Coffee should not hurt you if taken in moderation and you make sure to stay hydrated. Obviously you should steer clear of milk or cream unless its fat free and use a sweetner like agave or equal etc... Like i said im not a doctor just offering my honest humble opinion.
  6. I wasa just banded yesterday in Bon Secours by Dr. Weiss of Tri State Bariatrics and anyone looking for ANYTHING to do with the bad needs to do them selves a favor and either attend teir support groups or use them for your surgery needs. I cannot express how happy I am with everyone on their staff. I am in Dutchess County and use their fishkill office for routine visits and middletown for my pre surgery appt. Their support groups are great and offer you all the hlep you could need. Sorry for the poor spelling and grammar i took my pain med a lil while ago Be happy to chat with anyone thats wants/needs a bandster friend
  7. Howdy all, I was banded yesterday and feel great looking forward to becoming active on here with the rest of you December bandsters!
  8. I have found the gas x strips to work for me, maybe its just mental. I was banded yesterday as well and the gas pains are worse than the incisions but i have a very high tolerance for pain luckily. I also find that walking helps and laying flat every half hour in my bed really shifts the gas almost to the point of me giggling from the gas bubbling through my upper body.
  9. That is happening to me aswell, glad to see others feel it too. I was banded yesterday.
