  1. I was also banded in August and have only lost around 25 pounds.. My problem is old habits are hard to break and I eat to many slider foods. So this week I have tried really hard to get back on tract. I also need to excerise, which I hate. hopefully I will do better in 2010.


  2. On Nov. 4th I am getting another fill. I can eat to much at each meal and haven't lost any weight in a month. I do try to stick to 4 oz a meal but sometimes eat 5,6, or even 7 oz. Its all healthy food Protein and vegetables or fruit. I was thinking it might be a good idea to do the 5 day pouch test before my next fill to get me back on track and make sure I haven't stretched my pouch.


  3. Hi everyone, My name is Cindy I am 54 years old and was banded Aug.17. I live in Melbourne, Fl. I have been overweight all my life except for a brief period in my early twenties. I started this journey at 230 and last week I weighed 216 at my first fill. I got 2.5 ccs and was doing great till this evening. I was so hungrey when I got home from work that I had 2 pieces of thin crust cheese pizza! I can't believe I did that. I hope I didn't ruin any thing. I get another fill in 2 days so maybe that will help. I have no self control.:blink:


  4. I have been eating Protein Shake for Breakfast, Soup and chicken salad for lunch, yogurt mid afternoon, cottage cheese or soup or chicken salad for dinner, Jello or pudding for snack. I feel like I could sit down and eat a normal meal. I also have trouble drinking 64 oz. of Water I'm lucky if I get down 32 oz. I can't wait for 9/17 and my first fill, I am scared I am going to gain weight or stretch my pouch:confused:


  5. My doctor only requires a 3 day pre-op diet of 2 Protein Shakes and one small 300 cal. meal a day. It seems everyone else on a 2 or 1 week pre-op diet. My surgery date is Aug. 17. I am thinking I should go ahead and start my diet now. Or at least cut way back in what i am eating. I see him for a pre-surgery consultation on Aug 6, so I guess i will ask him then? What is everyone else's pre-op diet like?
